as per last final rigged.. well not their fault they got to the final with both teams is it ?

Can't say that I am, between the events of the last one and the time and effort that is wasted on them by CCP there are better things they can be working on that benefit all of Eve.

Last years tournament really messed up. The cynical play and match fixing made a farce of it.

At this point I think CCP would need to go back to basics with the whole design and aim at accessible fun again rather than simply massaging the egos of the metagaming aristocracy with uber prizes for uber nerds.

I'd rather have in-game arenas than bought finals.

Actually it was more like you bought an ticket to an tournament and one team fielded team A and team B both under one management. Both teams did well and earned their way to finals...

Than they fought and team A decided that team B earned it more and gave up after nearly annihilating the team B.

It wasnt cheap fight.

The worst part about the last tournament is that everyone knew from the get-go who were the B-teams from which alliances. All of those teams should have been dumped with prejudice by CCP before the matches ever got underway.

I'd be up for an alliance tournament but not one where rare ships worth billions of ISK each are given away as prizes to the "winners."

The AT's in the past have been no stranger to that sort of thing yes.

But for some reason, this particular match just annoyed me. Easiest if you just watch the match as opposed to trying to describe it to you.
