Kickstart Link for Camelot Unchained

For those that played Daoc this will hopefully take away the suck from current stock mmo's. It is in concept stages at the moment, going through a kickstart with Mark Jacobs at the helm. For those that do not know, kickstart basically is crowdfunding that takes away the big investors like EA, and is aimed to be more of a niche type of game. The things they have talked about are pretty impressive so far.

A few facts:
-this game is at least 2 years away from release.
-this game will be a niche game, catered to the more hardcore pvpers /players
-there will be NO pve leveling(the pve that will be there is for resource gathering), all leveling will be done through pvp (for non crafter classes)
-the economy will be 100% player driven, no item drops from mobs at all. Everything you wear, will be made by another player (kinda like eve)
-There will be 3 spheres, RVR(pvp) , Crafting, Housing
-Housing will be very indepth, block by block building, like minecraft (kind of) Can build whole towns.
-There will be a crafting only class

Im not going to wall of text this thread, if what I have said sounds interesting, take a look at these links, they are done by various people in the Camelot Unchained community, there are alot of people that really believe in this, want to join us?

Quick note about kickstart (crowdfunding)

The way this works is there are different tiers that you can pledge. The goal for this game is 2 million. There is 9 days left, and we are sitting at 1.3 mil. Most kickstarts do a U shape graph wise. Heavy pledge the first few days, a major slow down to a lul in the middle, then a huge spike at the end. We are coming up on the end, and most feel comfortable this will fund. However if it does not fund, no money will be charged and everyone is free to go along their merry way. These pledges give people the opportunity to have real influence on the game and its future direction. Myself personally will be involved in all phases of testing from Internal , Alphas, Betas, ect.

If nothing else, if this looks like something you are interested in, but really do not want to put money on the table, just throw a couple bucks in, just to show interest in the concept. While the overall amount of cash that is raised is important, the number of backers that are interested is equally important.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.
