Is that it wasn't made public enough to willing participates not in the alliances.

I watched the feed and I got on a few kills through all my alts. (One on this character just to prove a point).

But it always felt I was being left out of the experience.

Quite a few times I missed out on making the frieghter kill because it was burned out faster than I could press the F1 key.

Next year, Goonswarm should really let their fleets be public and let people into their coms.

If they really want revolution of sorts they should really include the scrubs and organize it so that everyone is involved in the mass killings.

Personally I don't mind since I padded my KM's on all my accounts. Sadly only one frieghter on this one, but there is always next year.

Well wouldn't the best achievement of EVE to be to get all the hi-sec pubbies into participating in killing each other.

Seriously, I saw plenty of otherwise normal hi-sec types go rouge and participate in freighter gankings.

That said, people tried to kill me several times while I was in bump mode of the frieghters. I put those kill rights up for grabs for any would be fools.

You know we did the same thing around this time last year?

And before that we shut down all Oxygen Isotope mining in hisec? And the Oxygen Isotope interdiction and the Hulkageddon that followed WERE open to the public. I personally paid out many a high sec dweller for their destruction of the mining bot.

Those were just in 2012.

How about you generate your own content instead of leeching off of everyone else?

The point is if you don't have access to goon/test fleets during the event, then you miss out on freighter kills:
1. Freighters they let E-warp then probe down to kill
2. They often have 3+ freighters being bumped at a time, good luck figuring out which one is going to die next.
3. Can't really do any smartbombing
4. Overall more ships are wasted suiciding because people will shoot too soon and shield will just regen.
5. If you want to help in other ways besides suiciding (bumping/scanning) you really can't.

Basically you are reduced to either using multiple alts to watch gates/undock to see where the next freighter is or hoping to "get lucky." Also since its about 20-25 min between freighter kills (GGC timer, reshipping, ect.) if you miss one you are left sitting there doing nothing until your next chance to guess right,

But where is the crushing of souls and blatant disregard for others that the Goons are famous for? At least one of the things you listed there is actually beneficial to others.

Why do you think we care wether some randum high sec pubbie can whore on our KMs or not?

Wouldn't you prefer to be a collective force of chaos encouraging the average Joe to participate in anti-social acts?

Surely that would be a spiritual win.

If you are not in alliance, you are missing so much of eve. The political fights and the major cap fights are worth playing for. Not ratting your brains out to barely make $1 an hour to pay for your game time.
