Graphics Glitch in the Fitting Screen

The issue is the same, regardless of the settings (I maxed everything out but, of course, tried every possible combination while analyzing the issue) the Calibration, CPU and Powergrid indicators contain jagged edges.

I'd like to point out that this issue is not localized. I experienced it on multiple systems with both Nvidia and ATI cards. The two systems I tested extensively contained a NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M and ATI Radeon HD 6850.

It doesn’t seem to be the drivers as I tried as least 4 versions (old, latest and beta/preview) for each card.

I also thought maybe something got corrupted during the install process but the repair tool results came up clean.

I asked a few others and from little feedback I got their indicators contain smooth edges and I distinctly recall that being the case.

What gives?

Got any screen shots? If I could see what exactly you're talking about I could compare it to mine.

I provided a screenshot of the issue and settings in the original post. Maybe you missed it?

Looking at it, I'd say that black part of the indicators probably should be transparent, not opaque. I'll poke someone, but would still like to ask you to file a bug report on this matter, attaching those screenshots as well as a DxDiag to it.

I changed my window color to match yours and I'm getting the same thing, so it's not just you. I'm not sure any of the AA settings really apply to the fitting window, I could be wrong about that though. I have all my settings on max as well.

This ugly graphic proplem was introduced with the 1.6 CarbonUI patch for incarna and to the best of my memory aknowlaged as a known issue somewhere in the middle of this thread http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1519883

Before CarbonUI the edges where nicely faded. CCP should have a record of this bug because it was reported with screenshots and in writting by a lot of players in the relevant patch Issues thread.

Please make PINNED windows completely transparent like they were! Or a button to control transparency level for pinned windows. Now they are semi-translucent and no way to control that or the color of the overlay.

---
Also, very very ugly black shadow to all windows, please allow us to disable it!

---
Some things that shouldn't have shadow, have it:

Look at the PG bar, BIG UGLY BLACK shadow ...

---
The same PG/CPU bars are not animating anymore, they jump when adding/removing modules.

Well, I'm happy to see that it's not just me.

Since this is a known issue... there isn't a point in filing a bug report is there?

Now I'd just like to know if they are planning on doing something about it soon™ or just ignoring it.

Even if this might be a known issue it's best to file a bug report on it so that the developers get as many reports from different hardware specs and setups.
