Why do missions give standings for FW and not plex/hubs?

So a player that does FW missions for isk gets standings, but killing the enemy FW, taking plexes and flipping systems gives me nothing after my top rank?

um.... what? am i missing something or is this just completely backwards?

just a little would help. but nothing unless i do missions? I dont get the logic if there is any

Do missions make money, get standings from the empire

Do FW, pvp, plex, bunker bust, get less money and no standing

I would agree that it would be nice to get more standings from killing war targets. Personially i never do plexes for FW and just do it for the PvP and due to that I have low standing whereas others that afk plex a lot and don't really contribute are highly ranked.

You are correct.

The system is backwards.

I wouldn't expect it to improve. It will only get worse.



There is even less logic left at CCP these days since they started letting Fozzie just nerf everything he's **** at fighting against.

When I was new in FW I farmed the missions pretty hardcore. Got Brigadier General in no time. Then I stopped doing them and focusing on pew-pewing to improve my loss board. With my alt who hadn't done missions, but has captured hundreds of plexes over the last 2 years or so. He is still not a brigadier general.

Hey buddy, them afk plexers do more for the war effort than you do wondering about on lolroams

if you enjoy just doing pvp and shooting stuff and getting blown up great, but moving the map and taking plexs is part of FW and always has been, dont say the guys that do it are not contributing

What? Is this some tears over the Drake getting nerfed? That thing had it coming, Fozzie or not. The balancing team is on the whole doing a better job than whoever was even pretending to do any balancing in the past.

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, [u]please[/u] give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

Drake is better now than it was. Same tank more damage.

Only people whining are the mission runners who like to AFK.

Well, if plexes gave you the same standings increase; then you would eventually have to go through the tedious faction standings repair plan to be able to fly in your opponents space if you ever quit FW. So maybe that is why they kept it low for the plexes?
