Hello i have a few questions regarding the above ship.


1. Can two covert gimped Tengus break the tank of a 10/10 serp end boss?

2. If two cannot break a 10/10 boss then can three do it?

3. What is the longest range a covert gimped tengu can get with heavy missiles assuming all skills at level V without filling the rig slots without range enhancers?

1. I have solo'd most Serp 10/10's. I forget the name of the hardest boss, but I dunno if I could solo him. I know a guy that has though.

2. See number 1. 3 guy's can do any plex, for sure.

3. I haven't done a plex since the missile nerf. My guess is 55ish KM.

A covert gimp tengu will pull minimal DPS. To pop the station you will need minimum 1k dps, which 3 gimp tengus using heavy missile would not be able to output. Bring along a dps boat.

imo, don't bother with cov-ops tengu, it will take ages to kill anything, just fit normal dps tengu
with extra high slot and cloak, gives you enough safety; if you are still paranoid, fit it with anti-bubble
or even better bring along cov-ops scout

Not that it matters too much but I am sure with CN missiles I was getting close to 400 on a cloaked tengu... Hence 3 could do the trick -Edit: just about-. Unfortunately I left it on a station that is currently friendly but not actually accesible... darnit!

With a bit of pimp and implants you can push 750dps from Tengu and HM's but it's a pure farming ship, go for HAM's and you can push over 1K dps with enough pimp and top skills, use a booster and you can tank/dps all the 10/10 with a single Tengu.

T3's are good at one thing at the time, not all of them as many claim. You WANT all 5's required/related to get the best out of your T3, best ammo, best named/faction mods but still T2 launchers and spec at least 4, best dps implants (at least +5's)
At the 1st neut/red in system just GTFO and bounce between safes, kiss the pos, dock, or until log off timer/system becomes friendly again.

Main question: can you kick 10/10 serpentis with a single well fitted dps Tengu? yes, ogb is a plus but not necessary
Can you do it with 1 Tengu and cov ops sub? no, at best with 2 and a lot of pimp/implants/ogb
