Security regarding giving roles to a person to do something like drug production

Somewhat of an advance question.

From my knowledge, a person needs enough roles to online and offline the bins, reactors and stuff so they can load the crap in to start making boosters.

Is there a way to give them the roles in order to offline and online these specific modules, but not the ability to offline and online SMA's, Corporation Hangers, and the POS itself?

(The same thing can apply to something like Gas Processing).

Were looking to allow a person to start doing some production, but we don't want to give them access to onlining and possibly offlining the POS, removing fuel, offlining the ships and arrays, etc?

Is it possible atm? If so, what roles would we be able to give them for them to perform this job, while still protecting the rest of the corporation's assets?

No, it's not possible; in order to online-offline the bins and reactors they need the permissions to online/offline everything.

No.
Anything related to put up or take down regarding POS modules and towers is in one single role.

We solved this by having people that require a POS for whatever reason to plan out the POS, and send the plan to our infra building guys. The idea is that you let a a few trusted individual handle the actual anchoring, and then open up the services for corp / alliance use. Usually the people wanting to do X (for which a POS is required) don't need actual anchoring rights.

This doesn't work for drug production though, as you need to be able to online/offline bits in the POS, which allows you to online/offline all bits (including the tower).

You *might* be able to fiddle with the roles in that one POS (e.g. online/offline is Role 1, whereas all other POS use Role 2), but even that's a little bit touchy.

passwords and dis-allowing people into the shields (unless they have a password) work, but since drug production is a lowsec activity, not being allowed in the POS shields might cause other concerns.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Maybe I did not know this, but you can set specific roles of a Specific POS? So lets say I have 2 POS's. My main POS, and Manufacturing POS #1.

My main pos has all the usual roles and stuff, but locked out manufacturing roles (so no one can manufacture less your a manager/director), you have hanger access, SMA access, etc, can't unanchor unless you have said roles).

My manufacturing Pos #1, using to make drugs (or convert gas into stuff), can have its own Individually set roles? Lets say I want 2 guys to be able to offline and online stuff in Manufacturing POS #1. Can I set it so that they can online and offline the specific modules in the manufacturing POS, but Not offline the Tower, and NOT offline anything in the Main POS? (Basically, lock their roles to that specific POS, those specific modules, and no access to the other POS's.

In addition, lets say I set the manufacturing POS to have a password requirement to enter (to which only a handful of people have). Does that change anything?
