Corp POS, Alt in NPC corp, and POCO Access Questions.

a few questions

1) I have an alt that is in a NPC corporation (in this case, Pator Tech)
2) My friend has a Corporation that has a POS up
3) They also have a POCO up on a Planet in system that they own.


A), Is there a way that they can give me access to the POS, basically, can they allow me into the POS without getting shot at by the POS, And how would they do that (I'm in a NPC corp). Would he need the

B), Is there a way that they can give me access to the POCO that they own so that I can do some basic PI work with the Out of Corp Alt

C). Can I dump items into Hangers owned by the Corporation I am not in (Can I put stuff in, I don't care if I can or cannot take stuff out, can I dump it)?

D), I am in a NPC corp, is there a way they can set that character blue to everybody in the corp, and in the alliance, so when he shows up in system, he is not immediately killed by everybody in the corp? (NBSI rules, so he'd be Blue, and not shot).

A. I think the answer is no.
B. If they allow everyone access, with taxes, and you pay the taxes? Not sure.
C. Definitely no. At best you can create private contracts to them, but one of their officers will have to accept and put the stuff in.
D. Yes they can set your character blue.

I'll clarify. Assume everything is done at the corporations POS, They have a Corporation Hanger setup for the corp's pilots. None of this is done in a station in system.

I could care less about the taxes. Can they allow this out of corp guy access to the POCO so that they can do PI (taxed or not, don't care).

A). The guy is out of corp, can this guy "Enter" the pos shield, and not get shot, and be in the NPC corp? If not, if that person is in their OWN corporation, not allied with the corporation or alliance, can that Corporation be set to blue, and given access to the POS in someway (with no roles obviously, we'd just like to give the guy the ability to enter the shields, drop off some crap, and not get nuked by the guns.

B) Just trying to figure out if the guy who is out of corp (either in a NPC corp, or their own corp, set to blue), can access the POCO's?


C). I know they can't get the stuff in the hanger, can they drag and drop stuff into the other corps hanger? If not, that's cool.

D). Ok so they can set character to blue. Copy that.

A. Yes you can enter the POS if they give you the password to entertl the shields. NO you cant use the POS services. If you are set blue you dont even need a password if the POS is set to accept friendlies.

B. ANYBODY can use a PoCo. No matter what corp they are in. POCOs are set on standings.

C. No. Its named CORPORATE hanger for a reason.

D. Yes. But keep in mind that any friends they have wont see you as blue and still shoot you.

To clarify B: you can use the POCO to set up your own PI structures, not modify the corp's structures.

Honestly if you are going to be using that much stuff, you might just be better off asking if you can have your alt join his corp

Basicly you are asking "Hi, Im in an NPC corp and I want some of the benefits of a player corp without the risk of a wardec" and luckily the answer is no. Hanging out at a friendly POS is possible however, and it's also possible to anchor some containers outside the pos forcefield for quick drop-offs by allies. These are likely to be shot at a POS siege though, so use them as intermediary containers and not for permanent storage.

You can get into the POS shields using the POS password. After that, you really need to be in the corporation to have access to stuff.

You can get access to the POCO based on standings. If they set corp standings to you, you will get beneficial tax rates.

The only option for you if you want to manufacture or invent stuff at the POS is to be in the corporation, because you will need hangar access to the assembly lines or invention labs. You can do research by putting that alt in a corporation and joining their alliance, as long as there is a NPC station in system where you can rent an office. Then you put your BPO in your corporation hangar, install the job from that hangar to the lab, and the researched BPO will be delivered back to your corporate hangar.

Actually I don't care if I can manufacture or build, just access to the POS and access to the POCO's. Long as he can get into the pos without getting shot works, and if the corp sets him positive, also works..
