Drone Hordes - a sub cap solution?

Hiya.

I'm trying to figure out what ship I can use to do Drone hordes. My Domi keeps making me warp out alot, and if I'm unlucky with triggers I can't even finish some of them.

I can fly and T2 fit anything amarr and minmatar, and anything smaller then BS (Domi is an axception as I have decent drone skills) for the other races. What would I be looking at? CS's? T3? Maybe a Paladin?

Any tips from people who have run these would be greatly appreciated.

I'm open for anything not listed too, apart from caps and gallente/caldari marauders :)

Did you try a sniper Domi setup?

Not quite sniper enough I guess. At 100 the neut towers still make life hard. How far away should I be to make that work?

2011 i used to run hordes in my Gila. T2 rigged + a little faction fit + Ogres.
Orbit area with AB, Ogres kill neutralizers, then open bunkers and kill anything. Was quite fun because Gila's capacitor is usually empty when tower is down. However passive tank + low signature helped a lot.

Maybe look at passive fitted Rattlesnake w/ sentries?

rattlesnake if you have drone skills. t2 sentries , active tank , cruise and make range with high and omnis to go around 70km. That setup gave me around 28-30m ticks when i was ratting drones. Bonus the buff on cruise incoming also. You dont need it cap stable just kill the neut tower on warp in and you will be ok.

For neuting sleepers I used to run in with an indy first and drop a jetcan with some cap 800s in it, and then warp to that and orbit it with the Domi. I think the towers you have will reach to 250 so you won't be outside the neut, you'll just get longer without needing to rep (so can capacitor tank the neuts instead of running the rep whilst you kill the towers).

Learn the trigger, understand the range/damage to do/take

Tested on a stationary cap stable Nightmare with tachyons T2 and Navy multifrequency warping in at 50km with 2 traking enanchers , 3 heat sink with a pith b large shield booster , a shield booster ampli and 2 invuls t2, all rest was for cap regen
Buy it 4 faction gun ( safe 20% cap ) and enjoy the new buff coming ( another 20% less cap )

Even an Abaddon can do easy Hordes if you dont mess the triggers

Thanks for all tips, I really appreciate it.

I'm having a Paladin shipped in to be able to salvage most of the crap on the go.

I'm still clueless about triggers, but getting to the point where I have some ideas and suspicions.
