This differs from all other elections how?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

It will differ that we get a bribery gift :)


If your support mattered more than anyone else's, CCP wouldn't need to give you a gift - the candidates already would have.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

Why is 'Give me free stuff for doing whats right" always the answer?
Would you only vote in an election if you were sent a free t-shirt or a box of cookies beforehand?

Voting and casting your ballot and having your voice heard is its own reward. Sure, 1 vote may be drowned out by numerous other votes, but it still counts no matter what. Ive seen alot of local votes that came down to only a few ballots deteriming the victor.

If people dont care enough to vote for CSM, then they dont care about how the game is changed or evolves. pure and simple.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If this is how you feel, it's probably best you don't vote anyway.

e: To clarify, if (as you admit) you don't actually care and are just voting to get the cookie, your vote is highly likely to just be random, the first N candidates on the list, instead of an informed vote. A large number of voters voting this way is statistically equivalent to those voters not voting at all. So, why have them vote at all?

What I'm saying is, a vote is worthless, it needs to be an informed and reasoned vote to have value. And someone willing to cast an informed and reasoned vote, doesn't need a cookie to get them to do it.

That would do nothing but harm the CSM. People who dont care about the vote - do not vote. If you you give them gift for voting, people will click through the offer just to get the gift, which means they would most likely pick 1st candidate on the list just to "get the reward". I know i would do just that.
