P0 is 2X it's size in links, why?

I couldn't find anything actually relative to this specific topic when looking, if it's been asked before I'll apologize now.

The short question:

Under the extractor product “tab” it gives X amount of product, why does 2X product move across the link?

The long question:

While doing PI I am finding that my links are at 100% when it states that I've only extracted half the amount for the link. Example:

Link with no upgrades are 1250 m3

Extractor says it's pulling the following:
Cycle 1: 34027
Cycle 2: 33290

30 minutes cycles

P0 size is 0.01 m3

So doing the following math:

34027 + 33290 = 67317 units per hour
67317 X 0.01 = 673.17 m3 per hour

This is approximately half of the maximum and yet I am over 100% for the link. This is for all my planets. Is this a bug or I'm missing something that doubles the size of the P0 for link travel? (It does show that I am moving only 62500 units from the extractor to the launch pad, which is half...)

It's been a LONG time since I've done PI, but IIRC there was something about a burst yield at the start or something ...

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Is it telling you that you have to upgrade your links, or you think you do based on what you're reading? I've never had to upgrade links in order to move 30-60k a tick.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Below are two images, the first shows the extrator data and the second shows the link data. Let me know if you need more information from something within the PI:

The Quantity number in your link screenshot is the maximum amount that was successfully routed on a single cycle. This was probably the first cycle. And as you do 30 min cycles, 625 *2 = 1250 m3 was used at this time.

On following cycles the extracted material output is lower and the link capacity is large enough to route it all. The 100% label is not updated though.

Your pictures don't show the whole colony but it appears you do not have the yield routed but instead have an arbitrary 62500 amount routed. This is half of the route load, so if it routes this amount twice per hour, it'll put it at 100% capacity. You should be able to route the materials directly from the extractor to the storage, and it should update the link usage percent based on the next upcoming yield. Or maybe I'm missing something else here. If you show your whole colony, maybe that will shed some light on this.
