Incomplete War Declaration System

Can deal with spies and theft...


I CANT TAKE ANYMORE LIFELESS LOOSERS WHO ONLY ATTACK INDY CORPS!


I have the means to avoid all other forms of dickery just by paying attention to local. What means of self protection do industrial corps have vs alt corps who wardec only for the kill board stats... "Fellowship of the Blade" is clearly a single man corp with 3 alt accounts... all of his war history is pos bash after pos bash after pos bash.... no real pvp kills... he is going after easy pos kills owned by indy corps who cant or wont fight back.

What means of selfdefence do miners have at their disposal:
1) Merc corp who will likely ask for 5x the corp wallet to even get involved.
2) Take down the pos wasting valuable time and suffering a loss of income/production.
3) Let them kill the pos and move on.
4) Try to put as much defensive batteries as possible to keep the pos up. Which sounds good but medium and small pos towers lack that ability.

If someone cant figure out how to stop this im done... Im not going to pay anymore money for this crap if a HIGHSEC industry corp with GOOD standings can get war deced by anyone and everyone...

Edit for tips:

I noticed that your corp is quite small and not within an alliance. Keep in mind that the new dec changes charge by the size of the corporation or alliance. Because of this certain players will still consider you cheap enough to gank.

You may want to consider finding ways to increase some of these numbers to inflate the cost.

SImply put bro, you have to find friends, forge allies, and work with people to help out. If you are just going to be greedy and hog all of your indy to your self, and try to become a fat cat selling it all up. Then yes someone is going to look to take it from you.

Talk to a combat based corp that can protect you and offer to build them some ships, or cut profit with them......


In eve if you choice to play alone you will die alone, and only few will hear you scream. The ones who do will just make fun of you for missing to plan for the most important part of eve... FRIENDS! Find some and make some....

This dude finds small indy corps, and is attempting to ransom their poses, people have been doing that sense poses were invented in eve. It's pretty common practice...

If you don't want people attacking your "defenseless tower" then I highly recommend you anchor a ton of ECM and shield hardeners. When a war dec comes in, offline your labs / factories / whatever, online everything else.

Nobody wants to take down a ****star. Nobody. It's the most boring thing in the world of Eve. Hours and hours and hours of watching the shield bar barely creep along due to hardeners, with locks constantly broken by the ECM.

Want your tower left alone? The simple threat that you will do this to your tower will ward off all but the most serious of tower bashers.

Added bonus: Train up the skill that lets you control your tower's weapons. They're much more effective when you take control of them instead of the random target selection.

Anyway ... learn either to protect your stuff or hire mercs who'll do it for you,
or try to grab plenty of allies for the wardec.

If you can't manage to defend your stuff, you don't deserve having it.
There is *nothing* to discuss about this, really.

My corp just got war-decced by a 1 man corp

This isnt a theme park MMO where you are safe just because you have high standings and are in High Sec. If you cannot deal with this I would suggest you find some more friends or play a different game. I would suggest you do some research in to the next game you play. Obviously you didnt do enough for EvE.

1) Goto http://www.agony-unleashed.com and take one of the pvp courses (this is optional).
2) get your self some internet spaceships you don't care about and insure them.
3) Now the hard part.... undock
4) Kill the bad teddy bear
5) ....
6) Profit?

While there are very few options for an industry corporation on its own to handle these sorts of situations, and there are certainly just as many empire-war hungry corps looking to dec them, you do have the option of finding a highsec alliance, that will provide some form of support and defence, via a pvp player base. I wouldn't generally expect much from these, and you -might- garner additional wars, but it's certainly something to look into.

POS towers in highsec are trivially easy to defend. If you can't protected an armed, multi million EHP structure from 3 characters you don't deserve to have that structure.

This is EVE you're playing, you have no right to anything bar the ability to log into the game. Your ability to do what you want is contingent on your ability to stop people who want to prevent you doing what you want from getting in your way.
