EVE Online Setup -- "Cancelled by user"

I'm currently trying to install EVE Online on my laptop.

After going through the long installation, I'm given a Finish window which includes the statement "Cancelled by user".

???

The window reads as this:

Completing the EVE Online Setup
Cancelled by user
Back Finish Cancel

"Click here to download manually" simply takes me back to the EVE site where I initially began the download.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

The only things I can think of would be if you got a Windows security pop-up window asking if you want to allow changes to the computer and you clicked No. Or if you're not installing with an Administrator account (it's an automatic No to the above).

Looks like that might have been all it was; the Admin bit.
Forgot what a pain Vista could be.

Thanks, Merouk Baas! Hopefully that's all it was!

Rule 1: Never use Vista.

Downgrade to XP or Upgrade to 7

Mainstream support ended, it's on extended support now.

Still, Windows 7 is superior to XP in nearly every way. Only diehard XP fanboys or people with really old systems use XP.
