I'm madly in love with this program, thank you kindly.
My only suggestion(s):
If you take a look at DotLan's asset management, I've found the collapsible/expandable layout of the assets to be a convenient way for browsing assets.
And since I do a lot of regional buy orders...being able to collapse sub-sections of my assets would be swell.
Lastly: In the past, I seem to remember that when you selected multiple assets, the selected asset value would be displayed in the bottom bar. Now, you need to right click on the selected assets to get their value.
Might be mistaken about that; still a lot I haven't explored with this program.
Cheers, and thanks again.

What exactly you want to collapse and expand?

@Jaq Royale
1) Tree Structure: Issue added - without an ETA.

2) Maybe your have been using Eve Asset Manager?
...I like it the way it is in jEveAssets :P

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions! :)

I'll clarify my question to "what exactly you want to expand and collapse, given current ability to apply inclusive and exclusive filters at random?"
The current jEveAssets filtering readily answer both "okay, what do we have here?" and "hey, do we have {this item}? And where?" questions with equal effort and success.

@Tonto Auri
I hope I understand you correct, sorry if I do not...

Yes, it's already possible to do what the tree structure does with filters.
The way I see the tree structure advantage, is that it is quicker and easier to answer the question "what do I have at this location".
It offer nothing you can not already do, but, it still a good idea, because it make it a bit easier...
It will be a separate tool, not a replacement for the current Assets tool

Is there a way to remove an entry from the Tracker? I updated my assets list while i had some stuff on a transportcontract and now i got an ugly negativ spike.

Tracker is not supposed to be pretty. It's supposed to be accurate.

Let me rephrase my question: How can i edit the tracker data? And where are they stored?

~/.jeveassets/profiles/#Default.xml looks binary

xml files aren't binary by the very definition of XML. It's, in essence, is a plain text.

Yeah i know, that's why i was surprised. Anyhow, my default editor could not open it, it works with another one.

I can't find the tracker data though, is it in that file?

Edit: Ah, they are in settings.xml

Thanks for this great programm, i love it.
No thanks for no help though.

Edit2: What or who is trackerdata owner id="0" name="" ?

@l0rd carlos
I'm sorry for not getting back to you earlier - I subscribe to this thread via RSS and try to reply ASAP everyday!
However: One or two days is a reasonable reply time for free support, for a free program IMHO. Blink

1) The id=0 is the "All" owner
2) The files are in UTF-8 format (To make sure our good friends in china can save filters etc. in their native language). That may be why you can not edit them with all editors...
3) As you already found out, they are in the settings.xml file: settings > trackerdata
4) The date format is: Link

Thank you for your feedback :)

EDIT: I just wanted to note that Tonto Auri is not part of the jEveAssets project.
Please do not hate me or jEveAssets for his reply Roll

I figured it out, my tracker looks pretty again \o/

That "No thanks for no help though." was not directed at you, sorry if it sounded that way.
And yes, One or two days is a reasonable reply time for free support.
I was just bitchy because of Tonto Auri. All Smack and no help at all.

I'm happy you fixed your problem...
Also, thank you for being nice! :)

Editing data points in jEveAssets is something I would like to add, but, have not gotten around to yet...

I really want to use your program it looks amazing.

But when I try to add an account no matter which API key I use it says this:
"The entered ID and/or Verification Code was not valid."

Any ideas?
