Damage Notifications - What does what damage?

Last night my PC froze up, and when I re-logged my overview and half the rest of my settings had gone.
I've managed to return everything else to the way it was... except for damage notifications.
Before I had it saying what weapon was actually doing the damage: "blah-blah to blah-blah - 350mm railgun hits" instead of just "blah-blah to blah-blah - hits".
But now I cannot find the option to turn it back on again... I've checked in the menu settings, the overview settings, tried to click the notifications in space.... anything I can think of. Nobody in my corp seems to know either.
If someone knows how to turn them back on again, that would be great. More so than just for functionality, I really want to know where that infernal option is hiding.

Look at the settings for log notifications. It includes those that are displayed now.
