Sounds like WoT but with mech's, and the dev's said its going to be more a tactical sim like Mechwarrior 2-4 and not a dumbed down action game. I definitely need to keep an eye on this one.

Oh my. Do I need to invest in foot pedals? Mouse + keyboard + foot_pedals + voice command software + three more monitors to provide a 360 degree field of view.......

Yeah, that should be enough to competently pilot a torso-twisting, jump jetting, humanoid of steel and destruction on the battlefield of the 31st century.

I played the original MechWar (Mechwarrior) game. It was the game that got me hooked on PC Gameing at a time when the Atari was king.

I'm SOOOOOoooooo Happy about this. Dunno about the F2P model, but I'll for SURE be playing it. Unless it's utter crap... but I can't see how it could be..............

The first mechwarrior game I ever played was mechwarrior 2, on my 486sx33 which didn't have the memory to run it so I made a boot disk so that the computer would just run it and it worked fine. \Big smile/

BTW this is made by the same guys who made Mech Warrior 2, so if you enjoyed the depth of motorsporting your mech out from armor to guts to the engines youll love this game. Only bad problem they mentioned is that repairs arent all that pernament.

Also PC only frees the game form console control restrictions. We should get something near original content back.
