I like the CSM very much, because the low- and nullsec candidates talk about their problems and how to fix it.
As a person, who never entered low/nullsec very often, it is a chance to get deeper into the game.

I can also impress my corporation with quoted words from interviews, so i sound very intelligent and up to date.

What lo sec candidate?

Ross Glenn for faction warfare,
Trebor Daehdoow
DaeHan Minhyok (concerning POS)
Sala Cameron experienced in lowsec and interested in fw

That is my analyzes, i'm sorry if it's wrong.

Edit: I hope a CSM doesn't do just their thing, i thought they are a commection between community and ccp . So you can make every csm a lowsec csm?

You got my number one spot. Most of the other candidates don't really need that much help but you need every top vote you can get. Hope you good boy.

According to whom? What's your source?

Come on Mal, you know the rules here. You don’t need :facts: to make wild sweeping statements on EvE-O.

Opinion and hyperbole will do just fine Big smile

The real problem is CCP management. They want 'Castle Wolfenstein Goes To Space'.

Is that what WE want?

Just imagine the rage it would cause if CCP did away with the CSM, even from those folk who do not vote.

This is not a signature.

People who don't remember it was instituted as a distraction from T20 and maintained as a PR stunt.

And roleplayers, apparently.

If it was realy a PR stund, why do other MMO producers are instituting CSM's (with their own name's) of their own?

This is where I put my signature, right?

Vote, you apathetic bastards!

Costs you virtually nothing but a few moments of your time; could make the difference between a better play experience or even possibly between the life and death of the game you play.

The only end-game content in EVE Online is the crap that makes you rage quit.

Except for you. You are obviously too cool to vote. Congratulations, you've won EVE.

The CSM does seem to have an impact on the game, things like bottom up income, doctrines and ship types that enable new players to get involved, and programs that narrow the gap between old and new players and rich and poor ones are important to me because a level playing field creates more opportunities for interaction, and makes it easier to find a challenge.

Corebloodbrothers, Ali Aras, Psychotic monk, and Mangala Solaris all seem to support those ideals.

And remember that because of the new vote tally procedure not voting will result in a Goon dominated CSM. I have no issue with the Goons, I respect their choices and organization, but they are meta gamers and they will push CCP programs that benefit them more than you.

As a 2003 EvE vet, I've won a long time ago.

An ex-BoB PR & propaganda officer that had his work published in PC gaming magazines, I think I know a little bit about dog and pony shows...

Btw, I'm not posting to convince anyone that voting for the CSM is bad or useless, just stating my opinion. Some of us just have a larger perspective of what goes on. If you're excited about the CSM and all that it "offers," then by all means do vote and take part in it.

Most of the people running are actually not wide eyed noobs or newbies. They seem pretty excited about it... What happened to your writings for gaming magazines anyway? Were they also demonstrably false?

You must have been one helluva "propaganda officer"!
