You're more then welcome to form your own nullsec corp and charge 0% tax. The beauty of Eve is no one is forcing you to do anything. Corps and the people who run them are content providers for their players, and a 10-15% pittance to help cover basic costs is well worth the price of admission.

I don't know about you, but i feel as if a 50% tax is a better option.
