Hello !

I was wondering why the largest Caldari Battleship is barely the size of the smaller Amarr one ? Why is the Rokh so small when every other faction has at least one battleship that looks like a real one.

Come on, you did it for the rifter, you could do it again !

Moar size for the Rokh !

Demonstration : Because size matters

Because all that armor and hull adds size to ships. Shields dont add size, therefore the caldari BS dont have to be as big as their Amarr armor tanked counterparts.

All these shield generators are taking a lot of place too !

And if what you're saying is true, we should see all armor ships looking like a huge ball of metal, instead of these thin things.

That's the way Caldari boats have been since the beginning, smallest in physical size, largest in signature size. There's this RP reason for it but I've forgotten it years ago.

Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene V - Moon 4 - Duvolle Labs Factory. Hybrid charges, Projectile ammo, Missiles, Drones, Ships, Need'em? We have'em, at affordable prices. Pop in at our Ammo Shop in sunny Alentene.

I always thought that the Caldari Ships are smaller because they're more advanced. Perhaps they need less space for electronic parts and the crew?

(Though that wouldn't explain the Matari ship size....)

more size is more pixels and thus more lag in battles Roll

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?

Size doesn't "always" matter...if you do not know how to use it....she won`t be happy! Cool

The lag factor is relevant... I think though for immersion reasons it would be a good idea for CCP to start scaling up things like capitals and stations. Stations in particular are several orders of magnitude smaller than they should be. If it's lag... why not do this: Go ahead and scale things up to fix the immersion problems, and then have a new optimized graphics setting that removes all ship and station models for fleet fights and TiDi scenarios.

Scaling things up may be a big project, but the lag thing is a simple fix I think....

Signatures should be used responsibly...

Because the caldari are experts at fitting so much awesomeness into a small package think of it as a bull riding midget who's firing double pistols and dressed like all mighty thor. same thingP

Your about as much use as a condom dispenser in the Vatican.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Indeed. And wouldn't missile ammo racks take up a ton of space compared with projectile guns and lasers (that have no ammo racks)?

So in theory if I equip plates and armor modules to a Rokh, it will grow in size? :)

Caldari ships storyline wise are very barebone with little in crew comfort, while amarr like to roll pimpin with their gold space nightclubs. The amarr make large ships to hold:

a) exotic dancers
b) slaves
c) beer
d) nightclubs (with dancers)

shift ctrl and both mouse buttons, move mouse right removes the fish eye that makes large ships and stations appear smaller than they are
