We saw the first round of pos changes announced recently and some were good, and some were a bit controversial. Now that you have had a chance to dig in to the code a bit can you talk about the future roadmap on posses and what we can expect within the next year?

T3 cruisers were an amazing concept, and those of us who use them are glad they're around. We want more. When will we see new T3 ships (especially in battleship size)?

Interested in an idea about NPC null: why are the rats in npc null the pirates that control the sector? Shouldn't the red crosses be factions like Amarr or Caldari or even DED?

Ooo. wormhole jammers. So you can activate a module stopping anyone entering the wormhole from your side while it's active. Smile


id say bubbles should do that, in the same capacity that itd stop a jump bridge from operating, the disruptive effect of interdiction bubbles should screw up a wormholes entropy.

though i can see an issue with statics being bubbled so that c6 wh dwellers dont have to keep chain collapsing, but just rely on anchored bubbles stopping travel all the time, to keep themselves relatively safe.

its a nice idea but open to a lot of abuse. :(


Again that's a good idea, but I'm focusing on the issue of people jumping out to HS to avoid losing their ship and never leaving that connecting wormhole. The idea of wormhole jammers and bubbles operating similarly to jump bridges is cool for WH--WH conections and I would be interested in seeing it implemented.

- Anti Cloacked campers modules? (that improve industries on 0.0 (people can mining))
- Supers docking stations
- More connections (stargates) from 0.0 to hisec (like hed) that can improve small gank from hisec to roaming into 0.0 (like connections from hisec to fountain/curse/esoteria/cache)
- Improve bonus of outposts like amarr with construction eff that can improve 0.0 industries.
- Black ops with covert ops cloacking device
- Incursion on 0.0 broking sov if you don't doing for X days
- Soveregnity cost much expensive (bigger alliance have a lot of space empty, maintance cost around 1b for every system (+ alliance members like wars) maybe can improve small alliance to get 0.0 space).
- Review docking range especialy on stations like jita
- Review moon mining, like planetary interaction, resource must be change, and you must place region of the moon that you wanna mining. It is not possible that bigger alliance when taked a moon they doing money without doing anything and planetary interaction are so hard for everybody. Example if you have technedium moons after 1 month of hard harvester next month moon materials swithing to another low materials,

1. Now that destroyers and battlecruisers get race based, can we expect to see navy or pirate faction variants of them getting added, like for all the other ship classes?

2. Will the ship rebalancing hit every ship type, inlcuding faction variants, t2 variants and will it go all the way up to capitals?



Since the t1 ship hulls got rebalanced, many t2 hulls seem to be not as desireable anymore. Where you can see it the most are the t1 scan frigates, and the t2 variants of them. While the t2 was a huge upgrade before, i now actually reverted back to the t1 hulls cause of their additional bonis.

POS rework is awesome and the changes that are coming are great.

1. Will you be giving any attention towards outposts at all in the coming year or year after? Specifically the lack of slots, 'kick out' stations being reworked (Amarr and Caldari) or maybe even adding in other outpost types for players to deploy now that the 'big 4' have been around so long?

2. Has anyone at CCP thought about the idea of allowing a new type of Structure, like a POS, instead of trying to rework the current ones entirely from a code stand point? For example if CCP decided that they want players to have access to 5 types of POS's (small, medium, large, huge and XL) would it be easier on the coding team to allow a new structure that can also be anchored at moons or does the entire system just force a rework?

3. Would allowing each character a single 'personal POS' slot be a bad thing if it was tied to the current standings system? For example I can make 20+ characters, but unless each one grinds up caldari State standing that slot would go unused unless I went to low or null sec space. This 'personal pos' would not be corp owned, but would only be player owned. Is this something you are considering at all?

4. As EVE matures more and more, and destructible stations are now more of a 'when' then 'if' would it also be possible to go the OTHER direction on this issue? Basically with enough isk, resources and effort could players turn an outpost into an NPC conquerable. This shouldn't be cheap, but is it even being considered?

5. How possible would it be to allow players to select 5 bpcs or bpo's in an array and ask the server 'do this job 5 times the same way' instead of currently each job being started separately, selected and then confirmed started? If ALL factors were the exact same, all 5 slots in an array or lab were open and the same exact bpcs and datacores were going in, would this be something that could be added or would it be a NIGHTMARE to code?

6. Players currently have 10 or 11 manufacturing slots per character, if the 30 day limit on all jobs in the original 10 or 11 slots were maintained would CCP consider allowing players to queue behind their OWN jobs if this 30 day limit per slot was maintained and it only applied to POS arrays and labs?

((This last one ties in with 5, but I'm just swinging for the fences with it, if you answer it, I'd buy everyone there a beer if I ever meet em, yes you can hold me to that))
7. Could 'Corporate Array Queuing' be possible as a skill. In an effort to get players away from having to sign on sometimes hourly to take advantage of their trained for slots, could a skill be combined with corporate roles to allow a player to add concurrent jobs behind each other in a corporate array (NEVER in a station or outpost) that would free that player up from having to sign on time after time if the 30 day limit is still maintained?

1. When will Walking In Stations being expanded to include more station areas ?

2) Can we get a "Block All DUST characters" type function for Local in star systems where DUST is active ?

3) When will you set ice fields to deplete and respawn in the same manner as asteroids ?

4) Please make "dead" and abandoned POS structures and POS towers go "pop" after 30 days, just like anchored cans.

In the past there was talk of introducing new capital ships, and possibly splitting the carrier's roles into multiple ship classes as well. Has there been any movement in this area, and how (& when) are you going to address the supercarrier's balance issues?

1. In this era of Titans being what they are, what's the chance that a Titan could enter a 5 to 10 minute 'siege cycle' which would allow it to have better tracking and possibly another target or two. I don't mean to the point where tracking titans were blapping 200+ battleships in a single battle, but is even the mere possibility of giving super capitals more of an effect towards sub cap battles at the expense of more risk towards themselves (aka More SKIN in the game).


2. If players on both sides of the super capitals online argument got a little of what they wanted, Super capitals being able to hit sub caps easier (but not like before) and sub caps being able to do more damage to supers with either new modules or weaponry that can hurt 'sieged' titans or super carriers that have entered the battles. Would CCP consider more options for supers to effect that if both subs and supers felt they were willing to take on the risks and the rewards. PT boats are an excellent option here, battlecruiser sized hull that could do extra damage to supers. And no it shouldn't be useful against structure grinds, dreads and carriers fill that role already, I'm not trying to steal their thunder.

On 7 of February 2013 CCP Ytterbium posted a dev blog called "THE GREAT SHIP SKILL CHANGES OF SUMMER 2013". On the wake of this post there were a 52 page thread with players complaining about specific changes in special regarding the command ships, carriers, supercarriers, JF and Recon Ships requisites.

- There was any internal discussion about these problems?
- This was reviewed at all? If yes, when can we expect a new dev blog with more data about the ship requisites for the summer?

- PI was added 2 years ago, followed by POCOs but the API was never upgraded to give us basic information about those new industrial features, when can we expect and api update that covers this and other pending issues?

Are you going to show and discuss the mineral/industrial rebalance you are plannning with the players and collect feedback like CCP Fozzie does with ships or you will hide and yell "SURPRISE" in the day of the Expansion?

In the dev blog about POS improvements, most of them were pointed to the wormhole community. In EVE there are two major communities that uses POSes, the wormhole and the INDUSTRIAL community. Can we still expect some minor fixes that helps the industrial community in one of the patch after the summer expansion or we are again being ignored?

Unforgiven Storm for CSM 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. (If I don't get in in the next 5 years I will quit trying) :-)

What are the plans for PVE in the future? Will we see new exploration sites and missions in the future? As CCP enjoys the emergent content that comes with other players, will the designers be looking into ways to incorporate the actions of others into missions or exploration sites? For example, missions which pits players against each other or fleet missions.
