Hi there, if your going to leave behind your own wrekcs might i suggest that you employ the services of ProSynergy and have them salvage the sites for you. You get to keep 45% of the profit from selling/refining loot (45 to the salvager, 45 to the customer and 10 to the corp).

Some missions are very profitable, some much less so. All it needs is a bit of experience to know which to bother looting.

Trusted with what ? Your choices are :

salvage and loot it alone ( You tried and it does not work for you ) .
leave the wrecks ( forfeit ALL of the loot salvage )
Use pro synergy ( and get 45% of the salvage/loot profit )

So between losing all the loot and salvage and getting nothing at all ...... and using pro synergy where is the risk factor ? That they don't give you exactly 45% but less ? It still will be more then you would get by just leaving the wrecks there .

Statements like this always confuse me. But I have never questioned until now. I mean, how can your alt be salvaging in a Noctis while your main is running the mission. Is there actually a way to run both at the same time. Or does he mean a 2nd character on the same account? What am I missing here?

You doing a mission, then alt comes in to salvage while you're doing the next mission. It hardly takes much attention to loot/salvage, or do missions in most cases. Another way is to just do missions for 90 minutes, then salvage everything. Only BM the missions that had enough wrecks to make it worth it. Wrecks last 2 hours, so just BM with the time so you know which to go after first.

TBH Noctis is by far the best purchase i ever made. It payed itself 20 times over already . But then again i run forsaken hubs in 0.0 . That Noctis almost doubles my income :) . Just the other day i loaded all the salvage and jumped it to jita . That salvage was from about 10-15 hubs and it sold for over 180 mil . And that's not counting all the minerals i got stockpiling in 0.0 from reprocessing the loot . That's another 80-90 mil right there . It even made me lvl my Refining and Salvaging to 5 and Ore industrial to 4 and now the salvaging is even faster. I usually run 2/3 Hubs BM them and change to my noctis for salvage.

To tell you the truth i never got what's so appealing about lvl4's the ISK is crap (pardon my french) LP income is meh . Move to 0.0 and believe you me your Noctis will be your golden egg .

You create one in your "people and places" button on your Neocom.
The idea is to create a warpable spot where all your wrecks are and to which you can return even after turning the mission in (which basically makes it inaccessible by normal means). Since your wrecks stay around for two hours you can do several missions and salvage them all in one go (which is definitely more time-efficient) instead of doing it after each mission.

Sorry if that was confusing to you, let me explain a little more.

I fly the missions, and the noctis follows as soon as possible (i.e while I'm doing the second pocket of a mission, the noctis loots the first one). If BS is faster than the noctis, or if missions have only one pocket, I'm creating a corp-bookmark, or warp the noctis in as soon as my BS warps out.

Yes, it might procude less income than 2 BS in 2 different missions, but that is way too much micro-management to be worth it for me. It was pretty Ok without NPC-brains, but now that you have to care about your drones, it's kinda meh.

This is what I'm currently doing. It takes very little time to effectively train an effective salvager, and it's a good thing to do while he levels up for bigger and better things (orcas, freighters, industry, PI, whatever).

I average about 8m in salvage and about 4-5m in loot, dont see a problem tbh and i do most of it semi afk although it has its down sides when you dont notice you triggered the last wave and start watching tv

If all you're after is isk/hr then yeah forget looting and salvaging anything but the battleship wrecks as you go but if all you care about is isk/hr the game gets stupidly boring.
