Hi,

I have tested the subscribe to this topic in RSS for a forum topic I only get the first message of the topic, I was hoping to be fed each new post to the topic when they come as I keep a close watch on certain topics. What is strange is that I can see all the new posts in the raw feed on the link itself, but only first entry is listed in outlook. I know outlook isnt probably the best piece of software in the universe but its what I got in the current setup.

upfront thanks,
/Kuro

This is a Outlook settings issue. In Outlook 2010, this can be changed from:

File -> Options -> Advanced -> Tick the box for ‘Any RSS Feed Item that is updated appears as new’

This way, if any new posts are done in the thread that you're subscribing to, you will get an update.

In Outlook 2007 this is done from:

Menu 'Tools' -> 'Options' -> 'Other' tab -> 'Advanced Options...' button

Under the Advanced Options you should find the option to enable this feature.

Thanks for your quick responses Xamother. Even enabling that particular option did not seem to help. One or two new items but some read items show up as unread although they are read... I guess I will try to fetch my RSS's from a different program because now Im seeing bugged RSS feeds are for outlook 2007. The feeds themselves look neat enough when viewed in a browser. I dont see alot of options other than to either use a different computer, my mobile or some kinda web based rss viewer. Any good suggestions?
