Combat UI Improvement

Hello guys,

I want to propose a few minor improvements that, in my opinion, will greatly increase the quality of information to a player during combat.

Now I'm not saying these should be permanent, maybe make them toggle-able, like an interface theme, as they will probably get in the way in large fleet battles.

1. Display some stats near the target (on main view) - like speed/ang. vel./hp left. Right now the player has to synchronize info coming from 3 different sources on the screen (targets - top right, for what weapons/drones on which, systems hp and all / target list - on right - for ranges, velocities,types etc / main view for positioning and ... nothing much really. )

2. When displaying the stats that are relevant to the player, like transversal velocity, range, etc - make it so that when they are outside the player's abilities to hit they get color coded somehow. Like if the target's transv. vel. is higher than your tracking speed - show that in red or something, same with range - green in optimal, yellow in falloff, red beyond falloff).

If you worry about consistency with the game technology and universe, I'm thinking that if the kind of tech eve displays would really exist, these said improvements would surely be made by a third party in a week after they hit the market :)

This was suggested when the last targeting changes were made. They didn't want to make it too easy. They also don't like the option of toggles, because player choice is bad.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

There's a difference between "too easy" and bad design. Information that is already Avila me should be grouped in a logical and easy to read way. This does not make the game easier, but harder (easier to find information means pilots will make better choices thus making your fights tougher). It also makes the game more fun since you can see information faster and can relate information better. I don't think the color coordinated optimal/falloff is needed, but I do agree with rearrangement of information to a more dynamic style.

I would love to be able to show information like velocity, traversal and HP on the selected target around the reticule.
