Google Docs Ore Buy spreadsheet?

Hey everyone,

First things first, I have no idea how to make this, thats why I'm here. My corp is thinking of implenting a Ore Buy program and I was thinking there is a way to set up a google spreadsheet to do this. Something that pulls the last price info update, takes like 15% off then has a box where you enter the quantity you have and it spits back a value?

ie:

Ore Price(-15%) Quantity Value
Veld 4isk 1000 4000

Something like that?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I used to have a spreadsheet for it and I think I still have it laying around somewhere. Only downside is that it will become slow as you expand it. I eventually had 4 different spreadsheet to feed into the 1 main sheet. Now a days we upgraded to a web application.

I will dig up the spreadsheet for you.

Say the Latest Ore buy price is in B1, and the amount of ore you have is A1.
so

=(B1*0.85)*A1

This will take 15% off the buy price and then times it by how much ore you have. :)

I have some ORE spreadsheet that pull the latest market data from eve-marketdata

yes! That's exactly what I'm looking for! I was trying to use the importXml= but it kept yelling at me about the wrong number of arguments but I don't know what that means.

It's not quite what you're asking for, but:
http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/ore/

might be of interest.

At least to give you prices, with a percentage reduction. It's not based off ore pricing (which can be all out of whack) but off the constituent mineral prices.

Hi,

I have made the spreadsheet that we have developed available for public viewing. I would download your own copy and play with it.

Originally it was developed just to work out how much to pay one or two corp miners for ore, and the prices were manually updated. Over time, I added the automatic pricing which is pretty accurate.

I am not responsible for most of the formulas, but I think the guy who did put it the amount we lose when we refine at our local null station. There is also an extra little section added so that i could buy pure minerals from other alliance members at 20% current Jita price.

That spreadsheet is not the prettiest as it does what we need it to and saves a hell of time and hassle, especially as we are now buying up to 5 bil m3 of ore a week.

I put together a 15% off Jita Google spreadsheet for you.
This link is publicly view-able, but not editable (to prevent trolls). You however can go to File -> Make a Copy and save your own sheet and edit that one to your hearts content Big smile

The main page just enters in the amount mined, it then checks the "math" sheet for prices that are automatically pulled from Eve-Central. It then takes the top percentage buy price (the fairest in my opinion) then reduces 15% off. This tallies on the main sheet and gives you a nice sum at the bottom.

A lot easier to look at, pleasant colors, simple, just works.
Let me know if you have any problems.
