Standing reset / balancing - Plex use?

Heres an idea...a possible way to "reset" or rebalance faction standing. Ive come across the situation in the past where a character has decline 2 missions within the time limit and its directly affected faction standing with that character forever! Meaning its impossible to make a character - true neutral again. What about using a plexes to reset your faction standing to 0. Maybe have it scaled so that if your standings are for example -0.51, -0.31, 0.57, 0.19 it would require 1 plex to 0 out..while -1.51, -1.31, 1.57, 1.19 would require 2, and -2.51, -2.31, 2.57, 2.19 would require 3 and so on.

Ummmm... I think that's intentional. Actions have consequences and all that jazz.
