Improve my Low-Sec exploration fitting (Tengu) / Explo Site questions

Hi,

I'm in low-sec for 2-3 weeks now and running radar and magnetometric sites. I have a huge trouble against elite frigates , huge trouble means I have to use more than 15-20 rounds of T2 kinetic missiles to get one of them down. The normal frigates and cruisers are absolutly no problem at all. But the elite ones are a pain and increase my time spend in a site extremly. So here is my fitting:

Any suggestions on how to improve this? With my current skills I have a lousy 437dps, 21k EHP. I wanted to create a cheap fitting because this was actually my first trip to any low-sec area. Since its running great so far, I'm OK with bringing a bit more expensive stuff to my ship.

Maybe I could use this thread also to ask some stuff about exploration sites too, so I dont have to make a seperate thread.

Here are my questions:

a) As mentioned above, I only run radar and magnetometric sites. Since I saw that gravimetric and ladar are only for mining/gas mining. I noticed my Analyzer has almost no use, maybe 1 out of 10 sites are for analyzers. Do I miss some sites to go where the analyzer is needed? As I said, I only look out for rad/mag sites, what other sites should I make with cans/towers and stuff to loot for?

b) Is systems security indicator for loot values? Since I'm in 0.1-0.4 systems I never got any real good loot in 3 weeks. I think decryptors are the main asset I found so far, and some rare salvage materials. The rest were lousy blueprints. This question could be about a) also, since I can imagine I just miss some important exploration sites....

Dude, you are 2010 character and you are flying tengu. You should be able to use search button already.

Use precision missiles instead of the heavies on small stuff as they have a much smaller explosion radius.

Tengu isn't really ideal for low sec exploration because you really want to have a cloak/mwd in low sec, you'll want a probe launcher and if you do mag sites you'll need a salvager, that all eats into your high slots which you'll need for your dps. If you have a probing/scouting alt then it becomes doable, that also means that the alt can do the salvaging and hacking stuff and that means you can use a regular pve/lvl 4 fit for it.

Don't ignore the combat Ladars.
The clouds in low are worthless, but the combat sites contain the Booster Reactions and BP's which are worth finding.

Also, don't miss Vilnius's (the post above, in his sig) vid on how to identify sites by there sig strength. Saves a ton of time.

Edit: Also, I don't see the problem with older players having the humility to ask 'newbish' questions here.
There are plenty of new players who get to read and benifit from the replies posted.

B. This is NOT a new citizen question.

What is your problem? Please dont judge my playstile. I went from being semi-active to inactive ALOT. Just because I'm 2 1/2 years old it doesnt mean I am experienced.

I have a scanning alt, its totally new one so he only has 2m skillpoints, he cant make the hacking stuff yet.
