I turn off invites and duels when I solo hunt as I don't need the distraction. No need to worry about me when I warp next to you. I am just a bot Pirate

Will you be in a mining barge?

I have been, and my intention was to pick a fight more than it was to mine.

I'd like to get into bot hunting, but I don't know how on earth are you supposed to tell the difference between, say, a Retriever that's AFK-mining and a Retriever piloted by a bot.
Are there any features that give away a bot away, such as overly repeated behaviour?
Is there any way to test suspicious pilots to see if they are bots?
And, of course, which areas of the universe are the ones most prone to botting?

There are no features that a player can view that differentiates an AFK miner from a bot. They both act the same way in the game environment.

You can test suspicious pilots by asking them a question in /local. If they don't answer then, chances are, they are a bot.

Bots are, unfortunately, found all over in the game as are those who on their first steps to becoming bots (afk players) and you can find a large number at ice belts.

I wish you well on your efforts to join the forces fighting bots. If you wish to join a movement of other like-minded individuals you could join up with the New Order of Highsec or you can go it alone.

You're boring me.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.

Just out of curiosity, what would a public examination yield?

The ability to check alleged permits against the master list, to detect forgeries. Which should then be perma-ganked.

No friend of James here, but forgeries are a low form of deceit.

Tell someone you love them today, because life is short. But scream it at them in Esperanto, because life is also terrifying and confusing.

All New Order scout pilots have access to the list, so that is not a problem.

Fake permits, when discovered, get you put on the red pen list, and your standing is set to bad ... this makes you a special friend of the New Order.

The general public is not given the list to discourage hunting of permit holders.

Join the New Order, buy your permit today, and follow the code.

If I were a bot master, first thing I would do, is buy a mining permit for my bot.
I cant see how a praise-James-Bio can serve as a evidence for a real player.

You can't buy a mining permit for a bot. Botting is against the code, so the permit is immediately declared invalid. Can you provide any evidence of any bot mining with a mining permit?

Everyone can buy a permit. Even for other characters.
To make sure none with a permit is botting, needs permanent monitoring of permit-holder activities.

I'm sure the NO has other tasks on top of their list

I kindly ask again that you provide evidence about bots buying New Order mining permits. We have a process to make sure that no botter is amongst the permit holders and already have refused to sell permits to suspicious characters. So, please, don't try to damage our good reputation without any evidence. Thanks.

I'm not a bot hunter, actually I dont care much about bots. So sorry, cant provide any kill mail.
But instead of making false claims like "You can't buy a mining permit for a bot", I would like you to explain the "Process to make sure that no botter is amongst the permit holders".

Ok, so you just make stuff up and spread lies about player organizations.

How is that a false claim? The Code (which needs to be followed for a permit) explicitly states that "No botting is permitted", so ANY permit held by a bot is invalid.

Just like CCP's "Team Security" can't publish their methods, I can't disclose our rules, guidelines and methods to the general public as bot owners will happily use that knowledge against us - and, no, I won't evemail them to you as you have proven to be a liar and can't be trusted.

There is not a single lie in what I have said.
But go ahead and continue posting personal insults, I am used to see from your victims.
