Unlike some of you I don't believe in using a lot of words when a few will do.

Was there for a big fight. OP Success.

Obvious you weren't looking for a real fight by hitting on a Monday. This is of course your right, and tactically sound. That being said you still got one.

Also, rolling 326 times for nothing, while our target opens a K162, I think it's tactically ironic. And of course the best irony would have been us opening a K162 to your fleet. Some sort of irony inside the irony. Ironyception.

The batphone wasn't picked up until you guys were physically in the Loveshack. We felt no need to. We figured by maintaining wormhole control for those few critical days, we'd have foiled your attempt at exploiting the holiday weekend. We asked around to see if anyone knew what your exact intentions were, but once we saw the killboard of Saturday's fight with Kill It With Fire, we knew. Still, no batphoning at all until you actually got in.

I think this topic has already become a bit of a dead horse, and these forums/subreddit posts are now only chock full of attempts at justification to validate that overwhelming sense of an empty victory on the aggressors side.

Yeah... no. As someone who was involved in talking with other diplo's while the rolling was going down, we said time and time again to other pvp groups "We will not batphone until they do". I had offers for groups to seed in with us on Friday and Saturday, and we turned them down because we are not faggots who need other people to do our fighting for us on even terms.

We willfully kept people from allying with us and out of our hole, until you guys showed your true colors and had 6 alliances in our hole with 100+ peeps. Could we have gotten alot more in before you were physically in the hole. Of course. If I had to do it all over again, would I have tried getting blues in earlier? Hell no. W-space should not be the place where this silly meta-gaming and politics takes place. And if it is, well congrats, you now have one less target to shoot at whom normally would take any fight we possibly could.

AHARM were asked to join this horrible blob fest too and personally I could not think of anything I wanted to do less then join in.

bottom line is no one here was interested in a fight.

on a personal level, TL ceased to exist when EA got created and I'm not particularly upset by this result though the execution frankly makes me sick.

This isn't geared to any one person in general, but I find it amusing none the less. I hear a lot of people bitching about the massive blob fest this was, and how it wasn't fair,etc.. I also hear it coming from some of the same people who bitched about BITTEN. invading Arctic Light, which was more than an even match up looking at alliance numbers.

Are you guys sure you know which moral high ground you want to take? It seems to vary depending on what names are involved.
