Which skills should I train for pro scamming? I've heard scammers are in short supply and welcome to corps, is that right? Especially with the changes to exploration, maybe I should train those skills now.

For scamming I recommend Social Engineering 5.

For scanning I recommend all of the astromectric skills to 4, covert ops to 4, and then a few levels in hacking, archaeology, and salvaging. You can then either move into a T3 cruiser and/or take the various skills to 5 depending on how much you like exploration. Some ability to mine gas or kill rats might also be useful depending on where you will be doing your exploration.

I think some Jita Scammers are wildly successful at Social Engineering 3 which is nothing. I would say at level 1 but a time based macro takes a little bit of skill to setup.

How long is that training and where can I get the skillbook? I can't find it in Empire. Do I have to go to nullsec?

To get a properly skilled scammer, Social engineering to V is really key, but don't forget all the support skills or your fitting will suck.

You'll need;

Crap Poasting V to get Forum Wh0ring and Alt Poasting Specialization which will boost your Cred rating.

Goonification to level IV is a really powerful boost to the Meta Gaming and HerpDerp Inducifier Mods

Spamming V with Jita Local Specialization IV can only help you in the long run.

I would recommend getting the Mittani Officer Mods, for the Goonification boost, but some people still recommend the Guiding Hand faction drops to increase your base Cred rating. James315 drops give you a boost to Forum WhOring and Alt Poasting. I'd stay away from the DBRB mods though, your LOL factor will go through the roof, but every 5 or 10 minutes you'll be randomly hot dropped into an enemy fleet.

TBH, I find the implants work better than the modules. Cool

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

So should I install the two "charisma" implants?
