Everytime you buy something that says "made in china" you are helping the rising unemployment in your own country unless you are from china, Buy locally produced goods and help create more jobs.

At least your thread points out the biggest problem with this game and the most likely thing to kill it in the long run, the players.

I was talking about players attitudes, not if they go to play something else.


This is by far the worst community I've seen for being at each others throats in a really unfriendly manner. A lot of the gamers here give gamers a bad name.

I also enjoy seeing people argue around the forums. If I feel like it, I would even join in and have a bite at it. Without this sort of thing, Eve and its forums would be boring.

If there ever were to be such a thing as actually mining in space, would you make the call to go after a profession like mining or hauling?

Would you pack your belongings and warp into the unknown in a massive and expensive ship to find your fortune? Would you go willingly into potentially hostile unknown space to chase an asteroid and sit there eating cookies while your strip miners hummed away.. filling your hold with ore?

Would you expect the great unknown reaches of space to be warm, fuzzy, or safe?

Would you travel in a massive freighter with a fortune in cargo and simply trust that you are safe and cozy as you cruise along at a snails pace?

Go outside.. look up.. imagine travelling along in all that emptiness.
Would you honestly consider, for one minute, travelling between the stars without one single gun on your ship?

I'm better armed when I go to the corner store for a pack of beer.
I'm gonna travel through space unarmed?

This? is believable?

I would laugh in your face.

Eve needs to get real.. any ship.. every ship.. all ships.. should have weaponry.

This is a pvp game isn't it?
