Odyssey Spacescape rebalance: DETAILS PLEASE!

Come on CCP! You can't just drop a bomb shell like:

"A New "Spacescape"

A rebalance of major areas of space from highsec to nullsec include changes in exploration sites, industrial resources, some types of NPC loot and more…"


...and then go weeks without giving any details.

Even if you can't give us details, at least give us some hints. What are we talking about here?

All mining shops got an overhaul and a new one added recently.

Why does the world insist on "everything and all of it right now for ME dammit!" about every single little thing ?

I've just speculated possibilities based on what exactly will be changing.

For example, if belts that take several toon hours to mine out (that some call tedious) are replaced with rare exploration sites that a single toon can mine out quickly... well, then in that case, I won't need 4 accounts to fly around not finding any of these exploration sites.


If you can't see the difference, then your eye sight is pretty poor.

We're two months out. In less than a month, I have to make decisions about the subscriptions on my 4 accounts. In game friends of mine are already asking me about my plans for the game post Odyssey, which I can't begin to give them, not knowing what Odyssey will bring.


In a game where it takes many years to develop a character, and some skills take up to 2 months to train, it would be nice to know some details of what changes are proposed for 2 months from now.

Turning off auto-renewal on my 4 accounts is NOT the same as saying I'm quitting.

If you think it is the same thing, then you are probably too stupid to make it worth my time trying to explain the difference.

yes it is.

if your account doesn't renew it's subscription, you can't play, hence you've quit.
pretend to dress it up any way you want but your perpetual "waaah i'm going to quit!" threads are dull, mainly because nobody knows who you are or cares that you're pretending to leave, again.

I suppose it's because our work, bosses, demand everything yesterday. And so, it's not unreasonable to expect those same people to give us, as customers, info now.

You would have a point if
1) there were not a way to restart auto renewal, or a way to extend a subscription without auto renewal.
2) If time did not exist, and the future was in the past.
3) If thinking about something, or even preparing for it in case you decide to, was the same as having done it.

Since these are not true, you have no point.

I have 4 accounts, because I enjoy doing things, like mining out high sec asteroid belts, that take multiple toon hours to do, that others find tedious. If the rebalance, and hinted at removal of tediousness, removes the need for me to have 4 accounts, then it is prudent to not have all 4 auto resubbed just before the change.


But, as I said, if you can't see the difference between "stopping 3-month auto renewal on 4 accounts" and "quitting", then you are unlikely to be able to understand the explanation of the differences.
