When calculating your corp faction standing, do the calculations take into account characters in your corp who's account is NOT currently subscribed?

I have a character in my corp who has the standings I need, so I assume I just kick everyone else out of the corp for 7 days. But do I need to sub this account to get it to work?

Yep, unsubed characters show up as members of the corp so their standings count against you.

You can see the names of those affecting the standing if you look at the composition.

You only need to remove members for one downtime.

which one though? I thought corp standings were recalculated weekly.

Standings are now recalculated at each downtime, rather than incrementally changing over a week or so. You still need to be in the corp for a week for your standings to be counted, though. Unsubbed accounts will generally not count against or for the corp's standings. The only caveat to that is if everyone with standings toward a particular faction/corp/agent go inactive. In that case, the last standing value is kept.

This means that if no one in the corp has standings with a faction (not 0.00 standing, but has never gained or lost standing) and someone joins the corp for a week before leaving, you'll be able to enjoy their standing (and potentially ability to anchor POSes) until someone with standing toward that faction/corp/agent joins. Not a very well-known corner case, but a handy one to exploit if no one in your corp has ever run missions or participated in FW.

Go to the Corporation window. Select Standing. Right-click on any corp or faction displayed, and you see a list of members that affect that standing, as well has their standing.

As previously posted, corp standing is updated daily at downtime. It is the average of all members with non-null standing that have been in the corp for at least 7 days. Non-null means never having any standing with the entity, which is not the same as 0.0 standing. Skills do not apply to corporation standing.

Also as previously mentioned, it is possible to have standing with a corp even though nobody in the corp currently has standing. Example: my corp has high standing with Khanid Kingdom, and nobody in the corp has standing with them. We once had a member that did have standing with them, but he left. The standing remains because there is no member to cause a recalculation [also saves time during downtime - don't recalculate every standing, just the ones that changed].

A common standing bug is that corp standing doesn't appear to update as expected. Flushing your cache solves this. It can also prevent you from anchoring a tower until you flush your cache.
