Today I was messing around linking itens that crossed my mind. I was very worried about a very important object missing from the database.

This item has been a strong influence on our society developement and scientific achievement ever since 8000 BC, and is a common trade good all over the world and a complementing part of everyone's diet, vegan or not.
It is resposible for a quarter of the world wide population growth between 1700 and 1900.
In 2010 the world production of this object as "food" was around 324 million tonnes and since 2008 has become a sort of internet celebrity.

It's use:
- To brew alcoholic beverages such as vodka, prtcheen or akvavit
-Food for domestic animals
-Food industry as thckners and binders of soups an sauces.
-Textile industry; as adhesives.
-Manufracting of papers and boards
-Remedy for burns
-Sereval research projects regarding health, plant and bioengineering.
-Sereval culinary uses, as an ingredient and main component of a dish in cuisines all over the world.

The UN even officially declared this 2008 to be the "international Year" of this certain Item.

There are even museus about it. If you doubt any of this information, google it.

For all the reasons above I don't understand why is it not a ingame item. I don't see why it wouldn't still be a common item in a few million years from now on.

Im talking about the potato.

Potatoes are plants.

They just haven't been planted yet.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

So... POUTINE.

Chop up those spuds, deep fry the living crap out of them... then drown them in fake gravy and cheesy bits.... and wash it all down with the diet cola of your choice.

Awesome use for a spud.

Second only to pickled ram's gonads, I'm sure.

What, the dominix doesnt cut it for you?

maybe this?

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

When our ancestors came through the EVE gate, they had too many exotic dancers in their cargoholds, so they left the potatoes behind. They told them they would come back for them, and the potatoes waited. But they never returned, and the EVE gate sealed, leaving the potatoes forever alone.

I expected a thread on sex, but now I am positively surprised to see that it is about food. Cool
