url error + black screen after undocking

Hello,
I have a strange problem with EVE today. When I log in and I see all my characters on my account, the right banner with news will not load. After several seconds it write "URL Error".
After logging in game with one of my characters, on station everything works as usuall. When I undock, I have black screen and I see only overview table. I can not dock back to station because the "dock" button on station from overview does not work. Nothing work and I do not see anything (also chat windows).

Any idea what/where is the problem? 2 days ago on this computer everything worked as usuall.

I did "repair.exe" tools which does not help :(

Hi, I'm also having this problem too (black screen after undocking). I've tried clearing all cache and wiping settings, re-installing the whole game and rebooting. Doesn't work on either of my accounts.

Got a potential fix for you.. Get someone to fleet invite you, the dialogue window asking you to join the fleet or not seemed to bring my game back to life. It's now fine after restarting too.

I am also experiencing this with an ATI 7950 vapor-x using catalyst. 13.1 drivers.


Made no changes since yesterday and the issue did not occur yesterday.



What I am finding, however, is that after undock the screen will be black for 25 seconds+ then the screen suddenly appears and I have no trouble from that moment on for the gaming session. If I log out and log back in, the black screen re-occurs.

This also happens if I log out in space and log back in, so its not just an undocking issue.

Edit: After messing about with the fleet invites (this had to be done while docked as if you log in from space its completely black, no overview etc but station environment loads straight away) I did manage to "resolve" this issue for me. So thanks to post Number 3 for suggesting it.

I started having this issue today as well, i cleared cache, rolled back client settings to last backup, ran repair,
problem still persist, although on my end the clients goes out of black screen like 30 seconds after loading
client and able to redock and undock without issues.

Problem appears to happen with the initial loading of space session since docked chars on all my accounts
loaded fine but run into black screen if i undock them, chars logged in space load to a black screen for a good
30 seconds which is fatal in certain scenarios.

Last thing i haven't tried is rolling back my PC to last backup but i highly douth corrupt drivers is the problem since others are reporting similar issue.

Same problem here, today: I can log in, station screens are fine: As soon as I undock, black screen. I can get the settings window via escape, but nothing else. When I go from full screen to windowed, I get a brief close-up of my ship, but nothing more.

... And, now, after restarting the client and logging into a black out-of-station screen, after twenty seconds, the view comes back.
