Mining Crystals vanishing

I've had this happen a few times and cannot find anything posted regarding it.

When right clicking a mining crystal to unload it to the cargo bay so I can swap out to a different type, the crystal vanishes.

Does not end up in cargo, ore hold, drone bay or a jettison can.
It's just gone with no alert that anything happened or any "are you sure!?!?!?" popup that I destroyed it or trashed it.

They were all less than 1% damaged when this occurred too.

Not believing about the less than 1%, as it goes down that far very very quickly. And several times ? Again, not believing.

Have a better explanation then as to why a Pyroxeres crystal that is at 0.68 damaged is no longer in my possession after attempting to change out while it's matching pair that was loaded at the same time and used equally as much is?

This may sound stupid, but double-check the filters on your cargo hold display.

I have actually had that problem with laser crystals. If I dock or change systems, it them magically re-appears.

FWIW, i think the same happened to me a couple days ago when swapping laser crystals. I am pretty sure that a set of Scorch M crystals that were only half worn out disappeared right there.

However, i wasn't really sure that something was bugged, might've seen things as there was alcohol involved as well, so i didn't petition anything.

*shrug*

just sayin'

EDIT: Heh. What he said. Don't know if the crystals reappeared later, didn't pay any attention to it.

Sorry, but I have to be skeptical as OP is a known troll.

Yes, the whole reason I came to a sub forum that was not GD was to troll, not to actually spark discussion over an odd happening that actually falls under the forum's purview.
Brilliant detective work Mr. Helpful with 50+ pages of posts in the last month of practically nothing but verbal diarrhea. Shame that you couldn't just block someone you consider a "known troll" and move on. It's real simple, took me all of 2 seconds to return the compliment.

For those in this thread that were at least somewhat helpful and interested in the issue at hand, I did get a confirmation on my bug report that it is a 'known issue' now, and yes cargo filters were off, sorry for not mentioning it to begin with.

I sincerely hope you feel much better now that all of that got purged from your system.

.....and over something attributable to your own clumsiness at that.

0.68 damage is 68% damage, a bit more than 1%.
But that does not help you with your issue, and Ive never had it happen. I have unloaded damaged crystals many times, no issue.
Edit: If you got cans, check in them. When you un-fit something and drop its icon on a can icon, it goes into the can.

Crystals are delicate. You need to be more careful when taking them off.
