Research BPC

Does anyone notice a Time efficiency, and Materials research tab's on the BPC? Yeah I noticed the same thing, then tried to research the BPC, apparently you can't .... then why are these tabs still in game. When DEV's modify resistances, or High Slots on ships in patch notes, they normally include the change on the ship information. These TABs are confusing if you havn't read eve encyclopedia. I would appreciate them gone, just for clarity sake. They serve no other purpose than to confuse. Anyone feel me!?Ugh

BPOs and BPCs have exactly the same tabs, so you'll see invention tab on the bill of materials on a BPO and copying and research on the BPCs. Probably a universal display for both BPOs and BPCs with just different info filled in.

It's handy the way it is because I can look at a BPO and see what I'll need to buy in order to invent copies made from it. Hide the invention tab just because you can't invent BPOs and it means I've got to look for a copy or make a copy first to see what materials and skills are needed (or look at an out of game app)

I feel your pain.

You can give me all those BPCs that make you mad and I'll make sure you'll never see them again.

BPO and BPC differ in only one aspect, licensed production runs remaining, so it is really easy to check that instead of doubling the number of entries in the database.

I know full well that's true, but it sure would be nice if they were distinct types we could easily sort out in inventory. But I know it's been that way forever and is unlikely to change.

I shop for BPCs sometimes, and appreciate the ME/PE levels.

The only 'easy' way of sorting your inventory is to show them as icons and not a list, then you can see the difference, BPO are darker blue than BPC, it's a pain but hey at least that's a step in the right direction, they used to look the same not so long ago Big smile

I'd want to see the corners of blueprint icons being used for indicating stats about the print.

For instance, put a small number in lower left corner about its ME, and lower right about its PE. And maybe upper right or left (wherever the T2 log isn't) you could put the number of runs left.

That would require dynamic imaging rather than static, the images would have to be created on the fly rather than being just an icon in the graphics pack.

I can't ever see that happening, nothing else I've seen in eve has that type of icon so they're unlikely to introduce it.

Nice idea though, and we can always hope, but not hold our breath Blink

Only BPO's can be researched.

What's the problem and confusion?

For sakes, seriously..............

Can T2 invented BPC's be researched? Is there anyway way of getting a better ME on an invented T2 BPC?

Use a decryptor in the invention process.
