Mission disappeared?

So I was running a particular mission yesterday. The mission site had ore in it, so I stopped doing the actual mission temporarily so I could mine the ore. I did this over and over again until the server downtime which just occurred, and when the server came back up, the mission 'area' was entirely gone (no ore, no npcs, no nothing). In other words, when I fly there, nothing is there.

The mission wasn't expired yet.

Anyone know what's up?

It should have reset and the ore probably too. Petition it - under the stuck category and a kind GM will reset it manually within minutes.

I am not old, just bitter.

If you trigger the mission complete objective, even if you do not complete the mission with your agent, the mission area disappears after downtime.

Thing is, I was supposed to take something out of a cargo box in order to complete the mission objectives. I never did that, but it all disappeared anyway.

Anyway, got it reset - thanks.

Some missions will trigger "complete" (i.e., wont respawn after dt) do to npc kills while the mission may require you to retrieve something that you could possibly leave behind. I think world's collide does this last I checked...if you kill all the rats in room 3, the mission triggers a complete flag and won's respawn even if you leave the stranded heron crew. If that happens, after downtime you end up without the needed stranded crew but the mission despawns (damaged heron included). I would think that missions involving "final rat spawn drops container with item" may also do this as well.
