I've been unable to log in to my character for the past day or so. I can get as far as the character selection screen. After choosing "Enter Game" my screen shows the usual progress bar for entering game, setting up station, etc. However, I am only able to see the number of mails and notifications in the upper left corner and the rest, except for the now full progress bar remains black. The mail/notification window fades to black and I see nothing but a black screen and the completed progress bar for "ENTERING STATION".

I have no problem logging into other accounts, just this one.

*edit: Checked again and it's just this one character (Ricardo Aguti) who can't get into the game. Other unskilled characters on the account can load just fine.

I have a similar problem, if i play on my laptop, and log off in 1DH station, i wont be able to log back on, it hangs at the Entering station screen. If i log off in space somewhere, i can log in fine.
My alt logs of in Amarr, busier system, and yet io can log her in fine.

If i play on my desktop, the issue is not there and all works fine.

Could do with some help here please.

See if clear your settings folder helps.

1) Start the EVE client (do not login yet).
2) Press ESC or click on the Settings button and go to the 'Reset Settings' tab and click on the 'Clear' button for 'Clear all settings files'
3) The client will prompt you to restart the client, click yes on that prompt
4) Once the client has been restarted login normally and see if that fixes the issue.

Note that doing this will not delete your settings, the client moves the files into a different folder with a timestamp. You can thus retrieve older settings in case clearing them does not solve your issue.
