Stuck on Character creation screen

Returning to the game after being gone a few years.
First thing it throws me into after startup is the character creation screen and I cant seem to get it to work.
Choosing different option for looks on the left side but I never seen anything updated into an actual character. Im just seeing bluish outlines of body parts.

Any help or ideas?

I tried searching the forums for stuck on character creation and got nothing.

Finally got it to work, just took forever to render the character, guess I was getting impatient.

If you see any further problems please do make sure you have the absolute latest graphics drivers installed for your graphics card as well as sound and motherboard drivers. Having the latest Windows updates installed is also a good idea, if you have Windows XP do make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed.
