The ability to turn off and on PI modules.

As the title says, I would like it to be able for PI modules (extractors, factories, etc.) to be turned off and on, depending on the situation.

Let's say your planet is dedicated to the production of P1 materials, and your storages have filled up nicely. You could export hem now, either to a production planet, or to a nearby sell hub of choice. But if my idea gets implemented, you would have another option. You turn off the extractors and basic factories and turn on the advanced factories, and start churning out P2 goods. After using up your P1 materials, you revert to your old base set-up and start producing P1 materials again.

There other ways of using this as well, and I'm sure you can figure it out.

In order to put some kind of limit on this you could use one or multiple of the following rules:

1. The turning on and off has a spool-up and a spool-down time, of let's say 15 minutes or half an hour, this limits instant changing of base set-ups.

2. The turning on and off costs you ISK, but not as much as building new sets of would.

3. The turned off buildings still use a minimal amount of PG and CPU.

Please let me know what you think.

An excellent idea. PI needs a lot of streamlining work and things like this would help.
