Yes Sad

The good people building WEB™ (a term I just coined now) ran into problems which mean that we have to delay this until tomorrow. I will do my best not to touch any code (or other technical things - I'm leaving that to the professionals) and things should be alright.

Again I apologize for these unforeseen delays and inconveniences this is causing you guys and gals.

A short update. If you visit EVE Community now, you'll see the new website. So everything points towards a GO for the pre-elections later today.

Surely there's no technical reason not to stick the campaign threads of approved candidates is there?

So the pre-election that should had started on the 22nd will start, with any luck, on the 26th. No need to apologyze, we would love you the same if you just weren't able to not botch even the simpler things each now and then. Lol

I think the biggest travesty in all of this will be if they don't shorten the time for the pre-election, so they can still release the results on April fools day.

That would have been an absolute blast and shown the new CSM system for what it is.Lol

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

On the plus side, you're doing an awesome job of managing my expectations!

I've been very disappointed that we haven't been able to get on with things yet, however CCP has been very upfront with the candidates about the delay and we've been getting notifications repeatedly throughout the process.

So, hopefully you'll be able to start pushing buttons today.

I share this interest too.

Will the Pre-Election still end on Friday? Or will it be extended to next Tuesday - leaving literally no spaace between Pre-Election and STV...

Doesn't seem to be working on my IE either.

My corp's IRC says firefox works, but obviously this isn't ideal for getting out the vote.

(16:07:23) (+Karbowiak) IE and Chrome doesn't work
(16:07:30) (+Karbowiak) the weird thing is if it works in FireFox
(16:07:33) (+Karbowiak) cause it's just regular JS
(16:07:43) (+Karbowiak) should work on all browsers if it doesn't use anything firefox specific
(16:07:45) (+Karbowiak) but, honestly
(16:07:47) (+Karbowiak) it's CCP
(16:08:01) (+Karbowiak) ofc it's broken on +50% of what people use
(16:08:08) (+Karbowiak) or +70% i guess
(16:08:22) (+Karbowiak) on EVE-KILL we see an 80% usage of Chrome, that's both ingame + outofgame
(16:08:30) (+Karbowiak) so it's not even because it's a small userbase that can't vote
(16:08:33) (+Karbowiak) it's rather ******* large
(16:08:35) (+Karbowiak) so..
(16:08:36) (+Karbowiak) (16:05:31) (+Karbowiak) GJ CCP WEB DEV TEAM

To clarify his 'rage', clicking the Endorse button on a candidate doesn't work in Internet Explorer and Chrome, but does work using Firefox.
