Hello again!

I am still buried in tiericide speculation and have almost run out of isk.

I have collateral to offer in the shape of battlecruisers.

I am willing to offer 2% each month for access to 20B. I have no set end because I do not know how quickly the prices for battlecruisers will rise.

I would prefer to deal with a single investor for simplicity but I can work with more if I have to.

HISTORY

For some time I have been speculating in tiericide.

I started by selling and refining all the loot I had got from missions and incursions and a short time wormholing so that I could speculate on procurers and retrievers. I did not have isk enough to do much with cruisers and destroyers but I did do a little. I have made some nice isk and after buying some plex and putting some bling on my mission tengu I had more isk than I could use. I then put all I could get in to battlecruisers and now I am waiting for the price to go up.

NOW

I am now speculating on battleships but I have run out of isk for minerals. I have some blueprints researched and some blueprints still researching. I have some battlecruisers finished and some nearly finished. I do not want to sell them too soon as I will lose profit.

FUTURE

I want to borrow 20B with battlecruisers as collateral. I think this will be one quarter of my battlecruisers but that would depend on the price I agree with the investor. I will use the isk to buy minerals to make battleships. I will repay the loan when I sell some of my battlecruisers that are not used for collateral. I then get my collateral back and will sell those as well. If this works ok and there is more chance for speculation then I may do this again with more battlecruisers and maybe battleships too.

I have seen other loans with collateral for 2% so I thought it would be fair. I dont know how long I am going to need to borrow for so I really dont want to offer more and end up losing all my profits to interest payments.

Im not sure I can do 3% but I will consider it carefully and maybe go for that if 2% cant be done.

Learn to read champ. No set end date. Can you pay 10%(2b) in this case for another 6-10 months?

If so then by all means start a collateralized 10% loan for 10 months. ill gladly invest.

@OP this is going to be a total loss. in on the Ground floor for future tears.

hint: mineral prices are inflated.

I have shown my business plan: im going to hold my 1920 battlecruisers until I am happy with the price and then sell them.

If I took a 10% loan I could only hold my battlecruisers for a few months and might not be able to make much profit after paying the interest. At 2.5% I can afford to hold the battlecruisers for years and still make a profit. I dont want to wait that long but I have the option. The loan isnt at 2% its at 2.5% because nobody was willing to give me 2% so I suppose you are right about that.


I have been told this before but it seems that if I buy my minerals cheap and sell my ships before the mineral prices go down too much then it does not seem to matter. Friends have been telling me that my speculations are going to put me in the poor house for well over a year now and in that time I seem to have made more isk than I did in all my years of carebearing before.
