Open letter to CCP and gaming comunity - Caldari bash and shutting down the oposition

Dear CCP,

due to posting truth about CCP Fozzie and his strong roleplay for Gals/Minnie in the FW (including last joke destruction of Titan over Caldari Prime - reason was only to give propaganda victory to help loosing gals) Hidden Snake was banned from the forums.

CCP is long term bullying any critics of this situation, when game drifted from sandbox to the roleplay box of few interest groups. So far so good, but when this unfortunate thing is kinda orchestrated by some CCP employees I am done.

I am in this game for quite long and I love it, but to be bullied by the developers is really too much. I have experience with comunism in my home country and I am happy it is over, dont need same **** happening to me in the EVE comunity.

I will disco all my 4 accounts in 1 week and I recommend it to all pilots in EVE as the community service went to era when CCP wants to play their game (and they might play this game alone).

This letter will be distributed onthe facebook and to gaming media (it is funny, as ex game developer I still know some eidtors here and there).

Yet again CCP have shown a distinct lack of professionalism in dealing with so-called "conflict of interests" within their own game. To have developers mainipulate the game in order to have one faction gain an advantage over another is just not the way forward. No other mature, proffesional organisation would allow this to occur. If it did, it would be known as a corrupt organisation.

CCP.....sort yourselves out! Grow up!

Giving the caldari/amarr to rp underdogs is somehow bad? Min have been doing it for a while and its great.

CCP should have learned by now. It is impossible to RUN a game and PLAY a game at the same time. Yes, it sucks that you can't play the game you spend so much time developing, but there is no way to avoid an appearance of conflict of interest if you do so. The only way to break this rule is to keep your play 100% anonymous. Of course, that is hard to do with the temptation that comes with the power you wield.

I am sure that your intentions are good, CCP Fozzie. But you are mixing business with pleasure.

Devs that don't play their games are clueless. You must actually play to understand the dynamics. Either way ppl complain if devs play or don't play. Its a lose lose for them.

Oh please. Gallente just came out of Tier 1 a couple weeks ago after spending a month or so at the bottom, and we´ve been WORKING to barely survive at t2. You Caldari were at tier 3 all that time, it´s not our fault you guys lack organization, troll each other in local or even shoot yourselves (as I´ve seen in Nenna and Enaluri the past couple nights) before we engage. We find it very amusing.

This whole tinfoil thing about Devs (and Goons too, apparently) being Gallente that your most vocal idiots have been spouting in the forums only makes you look like crybabies. I´ll note that there have been "prominent" bans before for Caldari players, for the same reasons, and yet you insist on coming to the forums to say the same crap. Are you not even the least familiar with the definition of insanity? Do you really expect to do the same thing over and over expecting different results?

What´s worse is that there are hundreds of Calmil pilots out there just giving fights and having a good time and a few of you feel entitled to talk for your whole militia and in the process make it look like a bunch of spoiled children. But hey more power to you, burn Jita and all. I´m sure the "gaming media" is already up in arms about this...

and all together even ur side is crying about farmers and problems with actual system ... i had gfs today too .... changes of crimewatch bring lot of good things. Changes in fw and roleplay ruining the game.

there was good commie saying in my country ... nation should have quite and calm space for work and every oposition should be send to camp ... enjoy the quite and calm space. CCP really went nuts.

Let me explain it to you. When we (gallente, caldari, amarr, minmatar) talk about the problems with FW (farmers being but one) we are doing so out of shared love for the game and to make it better for all of us involved in faction warfare.

When you say the destruction of the caldari titan in luminaire is CCP showing they favor gallente (lol!) and accuse ccp employes of helping us get what we´ve earned in game, you are just looking silly. Seriously man, stop for a couple minutes and think about it. I could just as easy say that the fact caldari had a titan in gallente system was CCP´s way to sticking it to gallente, curse their provist souls!!! and Jita is the best market! and Caldari have more players because their ships are better mission runners!. Oh CCP WHEN WILL THE CONSPIRACY END.

I too have been "bullied" by CCP Fozzie ever since I entered this game five years ago. How, you ask? CCP Fozzie, not players, placed a Caldari Titan in my home system (OK, my home system is Intaki, but my parents moved to Luminaire when I was a child to find work).

For too long, Caldari FW players have had this "propoganda" advantage that has lead to defeat after defeat for my side. I cannot tell you how many recruits have not joined my corporation because, as they say, "If you're so good, then why is there a Caldari Titan sitting in Luminare?" Of course I had no answer. How could I tell him that we have tried to kill that Titan two or three times with massive fleets - only to get the Titan into 99% shield?

Damn you CCP Fozzie! But thank you as well for finally correcting this blatant and overt advantage to the Caldari. Now, with the Titan destroyed by us Gallente FW players (yes, WE DID IT!), I will be able to stand proud and be able to recruit elite pilots to my corporation instead of the nimwits we have had to deal with for these past 8 months.

And now, with Hidden Snake quitting, we can finally take Enaluri back due to this huge propoganda victory for our side.

I will be posting this post on all the forums in the gaming communities everywhere even though I am not and have never been a game developer.


Edit: Wait, I can no longer farm tags in Luminaire! Damn you CCP Fozzie, damn you!

In a totally informative and non-antagonistic way, I'd just like to point out that CalMil is now down to Tier 1. No doubt due to a hotfix by CCP Fozzie.

First, wasn't it ccp falcon? What does ccp fozzie have to do with this except not giving my drake omni damage bonuses?

Second, my main complaint about the titan fiasco was that it was scripted and eve players were basically relegated to standing there and watching from the sidelines. I have some other complaints, but none of them are relevant, including my main complaint, because no gameplay actually changed. I still have the same fun I do every night shooting frogs. It's not like the downing of the titan caused all frog fw players to gain a tank boost.

Third, cause I'm shocked no one else has said it yet, can I have all your stuff?

Welllll there's play and then there's PLAY. You can strike a balance by playing anonymously, but the temptation to stroke your own personal ego often becomes too great. You can play enough to not be clueless while at the same time not being the center of attention. Discretion is required because once people know the devs are involved, accusations of bias and cheating are the immediate result.

CCP sells EVE as sand box game but last year in FW has not been sandbox, it has been CCP mastered propaganda to launch Dust 514 on way they want.

I sure understand their marketing but why to make old long time paying customers to quit at same process.
