The list of possible designs is rather limited considering the rumors circulating the ships statistics/ roles ( BC with BS size guns that trades protection for mobility )

Nothing is limited, look at the Seraphim. An ORE destroyer re-purposed into a Gallente battlecruiser. CCP isnt limited to adopting any ships exactly as they're proposed.

They could shrink a contest 1km battleship into a 70m frigate if they wanted to.

Caldari is best at making asymmetrical kick ass ships, Minmatar second best.

Does any one else like the way the Raven looks as it is? I think its fine grrrr.
Also, There are many good ideas for the Naga, I just hope it will be a missile boat and not attempt to be a caldari hyb boat, I want my torpedo BC

I thought it kind of looked Concord-inspired.

I also thought the Normandy seemed a little inspired by the Polaris GM frigates, not the other way around Lol

Honestly, I like the current Raven model aside from two things:

1) The mix of EXTREMELY low-resolution textures with normal-resolution textures on the model, and
2) That tiny head on the thing. It looks like Thrud the Barbarian.

I'm not a fan of the asymmetrical ship models but I can live with the Raven in most regards. They just need to do away with that cockpit or scale it up somewhat and fix the textures.

PVP is a question with no single right answer, but a lot of wrong ones.

Judging from the video, they're not actually changing that much - fixing up the textures goes without saying but the actual model seems to have undergone relatively small changes.

The most noticable to me was they've messed about with the engine section, and raised it up a bit so it no longer "hangs down" (seen from the side).

Assuming the shots from the video are almost finished, it seems all they're doing is polishing/streamlining the current model.
