Seems to be true.

TiDi will be less of a factor. Many folks will be queued-up at gates. Time to break out the disco-gank fleet.

When the population is below the cap for 10 seconds the gates open. When its above cap for 10 seconds the gates close. The result is the population slowly drops until its below cap, then shoots up as the gates open and a horde of people get in. Then the gates close and the cycle repeats.

Now if you logged in at 1200 eve time and went to Luminaire you would have had no issue getting in. Then just wait until it all starts.

So if you didn't log in right after DT then go to sleep & come back you are screwed out of Luminaire? Oops
Are 'reinforced' NULL SEC systems also capped at 1000?

System population caps are nothing new, and therefore not news, and therefore NOT threadworthy.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

What is the typical system CAP for a NULL SEC fleet battle?
Jita is 2500 correct?

They don't cap fight systems in null.

They have been keeping Jita below 2100 as of late.

GM's/Dev's don't like to play under TiDi apparently.

Keep in mind also that Jita's dedicated node is on beefed up hardware compared to everywhere else.

Jita is a special case, residing an a specifically-re-enforced node. There are other re-enforced nodes available, but nothing so beefy as Jita.

Edit:
Whups. Ranger 1 was there before me. Oops

I don't see how this will be any different from the many other live events.

Major alliances will systematically gank anybody that isn't blue and anybody who isn't blue won't be able to participate.

Based on what I saw this morning, Not so.

This isn't Nul, the fleets are already formed up and are being led professionally by capable FCs. Other fleets may form, but this is still rather organized.

Is it easier to log in from the splash page (I'm there already), or be diverted to an adjoining system and try the gate?
