lol. He was talking about Helicity and Mittens. Do you guys ever READ the threads before posting?

Even if he was, how is my statement any less true?

Helicity was unbanned August 30th, and resubbed last week.

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

Dont know dont care.

If changes happens than they happens....

problem is with innovation of destroyers, adding gang battlecruisers and other tweaks which will make even an dead person successfull in ganking fully officer tanked hulk with two destroyers worth 1mil there is no real alternative.. The end is innevitable, maybe just maybe once they broke the chains and once the drone region no longer have 80 percent of all ore / which is what gonna happen. Then people who actually want mine will get their place in null sec alliances and socialism way will become the reality.

You will mine, you will produce, you will get some reward but you would do it for us dear friend. If not than its gonna be great fun not flying anything since nobody mine, nobody produce because nobody have minerals and once you lose all your assets and ships you just un-sub since you no longer can do anything.

Or just scratch whole industry and science and make NPCs sell everything. hmm Shocked

It would be cool if concord would act like real police would do...but with a chance.

they should patrol and follow suspects (negative secstatus for example...or killed people in the last 3 month) where ever they go with a chance of 33% ...target someone in highsec...concord targets you (80% chance) ..first shot on possible victim and you will be vaporized by concord.(100% chance)

To be like "real police" per se, the penalty needs to escalate per offense until it is impossible for a ganker to continue. Even a -10 can easily circumvent Concord.

If it went that way, It'll come down to recycling alts and as someone said, maybe you shouldn't be able to recycle an alt with a negative standing. That'll be something less for CCP to police as an added bonus.

If you make yourself a neg status, you pay the price. God forbid, a consequence for ganking!! Whatever will we think of next?

Sounds like fun.

Poor part time macro miners / afk alt miners are obviously going to start whining again, but these kinds of events bring variety to the game and make people break their daily routines and try something else too... and if not - at least the mining will be much more exciting,

"Generate content", "Postive effects".... Lol. You TRULY believe that?

There are hundreds of ways for that to be done ingame, and I'm still not sure why you spend so much time singling out the one "event" that impacts the player least likely to defend themselves at the greatest cost.

You're a carebear missioner so why are you even involved in these topics?

I liked you better when you were advocating for mission runners to be ganked along with the poor miners.

I sorta agree that Hulkageddon brings variety. It was a 10 day event and the smart players just did something else in the interim.

But the ganking being suggested here is for all intents and purposes a little bit over the top. It's the bidding of one person with ramifications for both the game and for hundreds, if not thousands of players who will be victims.

And let's face it, even fun, if overdone, can become tiresome.

I'm still advocating that. Believe me. If ganking is acceptable, let's make all the people who LIKE ganking ALSO become victims.

I say bring it.

Why wouldn't I believe something that is true? It's exactly the kind of content that EVE was built to produce, and the kind of market and industry activity it generates is just a healthy shake-up.

You're confusing me with you. You're the one who just can't let go of this topic, even though is such a complete non-issue, and has been so since roughly forever. If the players don't want to defend themselves in spite of (supposedly) great costs, then that's their problem.

Oh, and…

3 things

-Don't fly what you can't afford to lose.

-Concord only punishes, there are never any guarantees of safety in Eve (if eve had a cornerstone/keystone, this would be it)

-Tears are delicious. The more you shed the tastier it is.

As long as they act like real police and follow disproportionate amounts of matar pilots, take epic breaks around quafe dispensers eating donuts and are easily bribed. Big smile

The advantage of a bad memory is that one can enjoy the same good things for the first time several times.

One will rarely err if extreme actions be ascribed to vanity, ordinary actions to habit, and mean actions to fear.

So you're in favour that missioners should be allowed to be ganked. No Concord in mission space?

Non sequitur. Missioners are already allowed to be ganked.
