try to avoid pvp for 30 days until you finished using this implant.

It's a booster, not an implant.

Yes it will be lost, but since you got it with a game code I believe they'll restore the effects for you according to this. You would have to petition it though, and that could take FOREVER so it's best to just avoid pvp...

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

The Cerebral Accelerator and Prototype Cerebral Accelerator have attribute "Non-Destructible = True". I'm reasonably sure this means that if you get podded with the booster you'll still have it regardless and it will still be in effect.
When I have a few hours left on my PCA I'll test this and let you know, but currently I have about 8 days left.

There used to be a promo package: EVE on CD (I think), game code and the accelerator came with that. It might have been the "Enlisted officer's Edition" but I don't really know any more.

Edit: Yeah, it is:

The promo mentioned (they still do them every once in a while, shop around), or jsut buy off contracts. FYI there's two versions, standard and prototype I think they were. One is greater boost for shorter duration or something.

It is a drug. It does not use an implant slot. It stacks with attribute implants.
