Hey guys:
Just finished assemble my custom PC and started playing EVE.
But the FPS only gets 30 and with GTX 670 it should be 60 (max out setting)
I saw an earlier post https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=172125
which mainly talked about the V-sync problem.
I turned off both EVE and nvidia control panel vsync, but it still didn't work.
The problem is when I turn my camera into blank space (just pure background of the system) the fps goes to 60.
But If I'm orbiting POS with a lot of POS mods, and do some ratting in anomalies(with clouds) the fps drops below 30.
I don't know which part went wrong....
Any settings? Or my card is bad? just can't figure out...

You really should ask the question in the section of the forum where you also found the previous thread. There are also more than one thread about it. You will find one right on the first page to it (link).

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

thx guys for the info.
I think I fixed the problem, just by choosing the option "present interval" from "interval one" to "interval immediate"
I don't really know what it does but on the description it says that
"changing the presentation interval can increase your max fps but doesn't really affect the real EVE performance"
And now my fps (in game fps) is flying between 200 and 400.......
that is smoooooth.........

It is the game's own v-sync switch. Make sure that at 200-400 fp/s your card stays cool.

Present Interval is pretty much V-Sync. Having it set to immediate makes your card run the maximum frames it can render, so making your GPU usage around 99%.

Making heat, wasting energy, higher energy bill, not necessary.

Try setting your Display Adapter to Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 1 if you have multiple options(monitors).

I have a 670 as well but I get 60 frames at max settings(extra max due to increase settings in Nvidia Control panel) and only 30% GPU usage. Present Interval One.

Also make sure your monitor's refresh rate is 60Hz or make sure Windows/Nvidia isn't setting something to half refresh rate.
