10th anniversary - 10mil SP remap (??)

didn't find exact branch, so the point is - let the players make a remap of 10mil SP for example, equal to 10th anniversary of the great Game, guess it would be fantastic P

No, for all the reasons it's been a bad idea in the past. An anniversary isn't reason enough to change that.

I actually think CCP should remove 10% of each characters skill points randomly for their tenth anniversary.

Now that would make it special.

That remap wouldn't make sense if you didn't make mistakes while skilling up. I for one wouldn't know which skills to remap.

Too small, this is ten YEARS we're talking about here, not ten weeks.

Make it removal of 10 level V skills. Random of course.

I actually kind of like the idea of getting to choose ONE skill to have completely refunded. Downside though, you have to buy the skillbook again, and you can't partially refund a skill. Probably a terrible idea though. Refunds are bad.

2% for each year of subscription after the first 2. I've subscribed for 6 years, so I'd lose 8% of my SP. I theory it'll lessen the gap between veterans and new players.

The idea of a 10M SP remap is kind appealing in general, but I don't think I'd want to remap anything, really. Maybe 1 or 2 million, but quite possibly less. Very possibly nothing. But I can see how it might make a lot of other players happy, and it isn't hurting me.

Still wouldn't work with the really old chars in the game where they're approaching 200 million sp, as they'd still be seriously OP in many aspects of the game anyhow.


Having said that and i'm one of those about to reach 200 million sp in few weeks, we are really running out of stuff to train up that we're actually interested in training.....P

This is a pretty solid idea, but I would make one small change:

Instead of just giving everyone a 10m sp remap, what they should do is just not do this at all.

I'd go one step farther, and say biomass everyone who's suggested this (and any other SP "reimbursement" schemes) be a good idea.

What if you lose Spaceship command or whatever it is that is required on all ships? Can people be lost in a station till they bring themself a skillbook with another toon?

Oh wait, such skillbook does not exist iirc.

But I don't have 10m SP (on this character) and wouldn't remap any of them anyway because I'm perfect. Big smile

While I do have a few SP (Under 1M) that I wouldn't mind re-purposing, this doesn't seem like it would be a gift that everyone wants or needs.

Maybe give us 10 small little things... I know I could use a Bonus Attribute Remap. :)

Aww I'm late to the troll party, anyways I do have things I would love to be reallocated it's a terrible idea. Get over it.
