Verification Failure

Your EVE client installation may have modified, damaged or corrupt files. Please run repair.exe located in the EVE game directory or re-install the game client.
Verification failed: 'D:\CCP\EVE\bin\PhysXCore.dll', crc:9730a6e1, expected:3c272bbe.

I have run repair and it says repair succesfull but still doesnt work. Hard drive is alot, no other programs running ( computer is dedicated for eve ).

Posting this in the forums because doing it in the petitioning system i get

Support personel has been notified, no further action is needed.

Incredible lousy QA.

The computer dedicated just to EvE ? Sounds fishy to me...
And i doubt it's QA's fault that the server is unable to process your request ...

Have you tried doing a full reinstall of the client?

Also try asking in Issues, Workarounds & Localisations and keep the panicking down.

for the moment i am trying to avoid downloading 4+ GB of files. On my connection this could mean half a day.

Yeah just do a full reinstall, I've had to do that so many times now that I keep a backup of my files on another drive

Start downloading while you wait for better answers.

This has happened to me a few times.
I have a USB I keep a backup of the client on just in case. (also a quick way of installing to a new computer. Once copied onto a computer that has never had eve on it you can run the repair and it will add registry entries needed.)

Unfortunately it looks like you may have to re-install from scratch.

If you re also having issues submitting a petition, I would recommend doing a hard drive check to see if your drive is malfunctioning. You may also be experiencing OS issues you are unaware of.

Thank you very much for your answers ( i mean it ). The problem was ( thankfully ) solved by deleting all the eve cache files, then re-running the repair.exe tool. Lost all the settings but alot preferable to downloading 4GB :)
